A Tough Decision
I have been playing on and off for about 5 years, and my main is currently a Rit. I have beaten all 4 campaigns on my Rit, and have a mish mash of titles. I am very bored of my Rit, because SoS is the only viable build I can run in groups. I was thinking about rolling a Monk and playing that class to farm for Gw2 titles. Should I continue the monotony of my Rit, or make a Monk to have some fun? Will I have time before Gw2 to gain some titles with my Monk, with an average playing time of 2 hours per day?
Thank you

If you are looking to fill out your HoM with titles, I would finish any titles that grant extra titles on your rit, unless of course your bored as hell of the character, (IE Protector + Guardian titles yields an extra title: Legendary Guardian, etc) and then do whatever you want to do with any of your characters. Any titles you achieve can then be added to your HoM since it is account based.
You will have plenty of time, and then some, GW2 is no where close to beta (hell we only have speculation to go off on for the majority of the game play features).
You can get a lot done playing 2 hrs a day, thats how I usually do it anyway. Whether it be completing 1-2 NM / HM missions + bonuses or vanquishing an area. If you keep it steady you will get the titles eventually.

Signet of Ghostly Might with another spirit spammer, DWG in DoA or in general PvE groups, defensive Soul Twisting, restoration, or a casual Barrage build. You can use spears, daggers, and such with Spirit's Strength. Some of those may not be the best option or the best option for every situation, but they have many viable builds.
Not saying you shouldn't step outside and try something new...

Erm, I don't see the dilemma, unless you're considering deleting your rit to make the Monk. In that case, I would advise STRONGLY against it. Even if seems like a good idea right now, you may end up strongly regretting it later, especially because of all the accomplishments you have on the rit.
If you mean you're considering making a monk in addition to your rit, then absolutely go for it. There's no downside, and if you feel like playing your rit again at any time, it's available.
Basically, the game is meant to be fun. If you are no longer having fun playing your rit, then absolutely make a monk.

The guy with the constantly-changing avatar speaks the truth. Ritualists have tons of variety, far more so than even monks (especially with ER healers taking over their jobs). If you really desire to try out the monk's playstyle, be a resto healer.

Stop playing SoS then. SoS is the most boring thing to play I find. It's so boring: just let the heroes do it unless you want to solo.
You should try SoGM, restoration magic, ST, Splinter barrage, anything but SoS. Groups will demand SoS so just join a group that has an SoS already.
