Viable water build for PVP? You be the judge
[skill]Mind Freeze[/skill] [skill]Maelstrom[/skill] [skill]steam[/skill] [skill]glyph of immolation[/skill] [skill]rust[/skill] (only in the mix to piss off people in RA) [skill]life siphon[/skill] [skill]water attunement[/skill] [skill]resurrection signet[/skill]
Ran this build this weekend and won many matches. Burning hits before steam so you can blind them straight away as long as glyph is active. It is always nice to hit someone with life siphon and get burning out of it as well. I personally use maelstrom when I get a ballad up group. Maelstrom followed by freeze is nasty to a caster.
Water Max
Fire enough to get 3 spells with 3 sec burning
Blood enough for 2 pips of regeneration
Energy balance
Tried the above build with Water Trident it was ok, but Mind freeze is cheap and slows target down great on warriors and sins
Comments Ideas Welcome

[skill]Icy Shackles[/skill] doesn't cause exhaustion, you only miss out the damage.
and why life siphon, glyph of restoration can heal.
Or use ranger secondary for natural stride. damage migitation > healing

Life siphon is a spell that can heal you and burn a target at the same time. But you are correct I could switch it. Exhaustion really was not a problem for me.
Aslo could always switch to a monk and have [skill]Restful Breeze[/skill] and a rez spell

It was semidecent until I got to the rust. Then the life siphon. Take those two out for something like ice spikes and aura of restoration/mystic regeneration.

All you need is ice spear and you've got an Ice Imp build. :\ Anyways, you've got too much exaustion on that bar for me to want to use it.
If you are running this only for RA, just about any build can win there. I once ran the worse warrior joke build I could find on wiki and won a match or two.

Rust was just put in to slow rez skills / healing signet or signet monks. Healing skill can certainly be changed. In your opinion would [skill]Ice Spear[/skill] since you could spam it with burning condition attached?
Or better yet Slippery Ground=If target foe is Blind, that foe is knocked down.

I would try going paragon secondary and using the signet of burning?
The one where you gain energy if they are burning.
But still too much exhaustion I still just like the classic
Shatterstone
Glowing ice combo best.

Signet of burning gives only a little energy every 20 seconds because it is a leadership skill. :\

If you're going to have glyph of imm and steam, why not throw in slippery ground for additional annoyance?

[skill]Shatterstone[/skill][skill]Frozen Burst[/skill][skill]Blurred Vision[/skill][skill]Freezing Gust[/skill][skill]Glyph of Lesser Energy[/skill][skill]Water Attunement[/skill]
Shatterstone + Frozen Gust = epic damage. Mind Freeze is okay, but you might want to do Shatterstone in RA just for some more damage since there's only 4 people you could be able to snare them with Gust and Burst. Then throw in some sort of a self heal or some sort of defense, not sure why you'd bring Life Siphon on a water ele.

I like the sound of this what do you think
[skill]Shatterstone[/skill] [skill]Freezing Gust[/skill] [skill]steam[/skill] [skill]glyph of immolation[/skill] [skill]Slippery Ground[/skill] [skill]Aura of Restoration[/skill] [skill]water attunement[/skill] [skill]resurrection signet[/skill]
Skills without tags
Glyph of Immolation

For 15 seconds, your next 1...3 Spells that target a foe also cause Burning for 1...3 seconds.
Slippery Ground
5 energy 1 casting 10 recharge
If target foe is Blind, that foe is knocked down.

Why glowing ice? All you need to manage energy is glyph and your attunement. Glowing ice seems a bit overkill.
Personally I'd throw some points into air and bring gale instead of slippery ground, the KD is longer and it's not conditional and the exhaustion shouldn't be a problem if you're smart with it.

Gale = 2 seconds
Slippery = 1 second?
Unless the descriptions are wrong.
