Hi all first guide from me so go easy please,

Proffesion: monk/warrior 55hp

Skills: protective spirit, healing breeze, mending, blessed aura, essence bond, balthazars spirit, sheild of judgement, dolyak signet.

the run:

leave from beacons perch, cast mending, blessed, essence and spirit up then run towards the first group and cast prot spirit and breeze before agroing them. Now you can run through these easily keep casting your enchants when needed. follow the road left and you should see a fairly large group of shiverpeak warriors in front of you cast sheild of judgement when running though these or the damage will be to much and you may die. keep going along this road till you see it split off to the left where you should see some snow ettins. Run to these to break agro of shiverpeaks now just kill useing soj lure a max of 6 any more and you got a good chance of dieing. rember to put up doylak wile casting soj or you will get knocked down. Now once you have cleared these enter the cave and kill the groups inside rember no more than 6 at a time. avarage drops for each groups are 100g. On the right side of the cave there is a monk boss and a warrior boss dont bother with the warrior boss as i have been unable to work out how to kill him but the monk boss is easy to kill. Havnt got any elite tomes from him yet and i am unsure weather he drops them or not who knows. But once you have cleared the cave just zone and repeat. You for a good chance of getting golds here maybe 1 every 2 runs or more depending on luck but its a good source of cash drops. avarage run time is around 7-10 mins after some practice.

yeah i tried that spot too.
I used a mo/d build with mystic regen and fleeting stab.
Dropps are quite nice and you can almost clear the whole area

Gj - Some Screens might be nice

i cleared the entire cave the other day and got nothing but icy humps and some gold. I know a long time ago this place got nerfed hardcore, my guess is that is probably still is.

I always run pass the ettins, never bothered farming then. Nice idea, Gj.

This place drops absolutely crap. The runs are slow, and extremely boring. If i wanted to farm for non max, white, longbows, hammers, some forked swords, and assorted worthless dyes, then I would certainly go here. Other than that, id rather AB, turn that into amber or jadeite, and make even more of a profit doing that. (Yes, and thats a crappy way to make money, thats my point)

It sounds like to me you didn't have hard mode enabled while doing this run.

Sounds to me like you need to realize ive been playing this game for 30 months and I know im in hard mode when im in it, and lvl 26 ettins do not seem like normal mode to me. Go farm it yourself.

It isn't really possible for me to no how long you have been playing or relevant for that matter but if I were to judge based on when your gwguru account was made I would say far less than 30 months. I was pointing out a simple solution to you as in no part of your post did you mention you were in hard mode but you did mention non max weapons which is more associated with normal mode. In summary never mind was just trying to give a bit of helpful advice with the information at hand.

Based on your answer I would say you are at most 60 months old IRL. But hell, how could I know that for sure, since you never told me your real age, your accounts age and what level the ettins were your were farming. Only thing you said was some lame ass criticism that any child can type.

To the OP: too bad you were in a rush in writing the 'guide' it kinda pains me to read. Nevertheless nice idea. I'm not sure of SoJ breaking their aggro before they die, but if so, try to group em up and to have a wall on their left hand side (so to your right if you are facing them).
