[skill]splinter weapon[/skill]
Ftw.
Say barrage hits 3 targets.
Each arrow that hits will hit 3 adjacent target, hitting each 3 targets 3 times with the splinter weapon if I'm correct.
[skill]mark of pain[/skill] has a great advantage of lasting long though.
But for creatures with anti hex, it might be annoying.
Interrupts also.

[skill=text]Mark of Pain[/skill] is really useless, 20s recharge prohibits frequent usage of it and it requires your target to remain near the mob. Whereas with [skill=text]Splinter Weapon[/skill] you can fire it off every 6 seconds and target anywhere you want. You really shouldn't be running Barrage without Splinter Weapon.
Also [skill=text]Winnowing[/skill] can increase the damage of Splinter Weapon noticeably since each hit of it deals physical damage.

I like using this in Barrage builds when I have nothing else to put in:
Edit: Sorry, just noticed you have only Factions and Prophecies. Oh well, maybe it will help someone else.

Well i currently have a set of 1k armour just for UW/FoW
Marksmanship 10 + 1 + 3
Expertise 11 + 3
Channeling 10 - so it target 4 adjacent foes (splinter weapon)
Does tht seem about right to you lot?
The rest of my armour hosts Runes of vitae, Sup vigor and survivor insignias so health is at 470 and with the Tank holding the aggro am i right in thinking this is plenty?

Ehm...no 470 health is nowhere near enough.. dual superiors is just suicide, there's no way you'll get your tank to hold aggro if you run with that little health.
Go 11 Channeling, 10+2+1 Expertise, 10+2 Marksmanship.

Im not tanking though im staying away from danger while the obsi tank or w.e holds the aggro, or do u meen aggro will break because the enemys go for the weak ones?

Having lower HP and lower armor makes you a higher priority target. Having all Minors or Minors + 1 Major gives you all the attribute points you need.

Ok...
10 expertise is a breakpoint for nothing. Why would you run it?
9 is the 6e breakpoint for 10e skills, 8 is the 3e breakpoint for 5e skills, your next breakpoint is at 12 for 5e for 10e skills. 10 expertise does nothing that 9 expertise doesn't do apart from giving you -35 health.
Also swap the Channeling and Marksmanship attributes around, Splinter Weapon gives you a lot more damage than Barrage does.
All minors in PvE is kinda pointless though... running a major is perfectly fine on casters, and one superior or two majors on a Ranger won't hurt you either.
