You could always go full radiant insignias
Don't forget [skill]wild blow[/skill] is another useful energy attack

Bigger energy pools are bad. Better energy management is key.

I usually have 1 or 2 energy attack skills, one being counter attack, which usually returns some energy too. In certain cases where I will be fighting enemies that deny me adrenaline gain, I'll take warrior's endurance to keep my energy up, and an increased attack speed skill is also very important.
One thing to keep in mind is that you need to pace yourself. It's not always a wise idea to spam your energy attacks as fats as possible.
Since you mentioned you have nightfall, you way want to try a build w/ 'for great justice' and that elite axe attack that only costs 2 adrenaline. It's not good for spiking damage, but you can spam it nonstop while under the effects of 'for great justice'. If you ever get factions, you can do a similar thing w/ the elite skill dragon slash, which costs more adrenaline, but does more damage and returns adrenaline when you hit, thus allowing you to spam that attack as well.
Runes and insignias that increase your energy pool only buy you an extra energy attack or 2, then you are back where you started, so they may not be best...

Warrior's Endurance is fun to use on a hammer bar with Eremite's Attack, Mystic Sweep, and Protector's Strike.

The 3 second recharge of Power Attack makes it one of the highest damage attacks a war can bring, with high strength, so why not bring it if you have good e-management?
Aside from Dslash + FGJ there is no other attack skill than can be spammed as fast as Power Attack for +40 damage.
Counter attack is basically free since very very rarely will you hit a foe in PvE that is not attacking, save casters.

If it's PvE you're talking about, you only need 3 skills.:
[skill]Dragon Slash[/skill][skill]Flail[/skill][skill]"For Great Justice!"[/skill]
Shouldn't run into much energy trouble there.

QFT. Good warrior builds tend to have about 3 attack skills. You also need a res in your build and an IAS skill will help you gain ade faster.

Why to warrior's only have 2 energy regen bip? Because they have to ability to use powerful attack skillz by using Adrenaline. I hopefully don't need to explain paragon's too do I?

If, like me you prefer to spec into Tactics more than Strength then [skill]soldier's strike[/skill] is a good energy based attack to take.
However, as pretty much everyone has said here you should really be relying on adrenaline attacks for most of your damage. Only time i use an energy based attack is when an adrenaline one isn't charged. IMO energy based attacks should generally be used as an opening skill or a filler skill while waiting for adrenaline to build.

Are you just trying to screw Warriors these days?
Final Thrust on a Dragon Slash bar.
Melandru's Resilience over Eviscerate.
Melandur's Resilience over Frenzy.
Warrior's should sit there and deal 0-2 damage and used Obsidian Flesh as their Elite.
Can you stop sucking now?
