The farm should be quicker in HM if using Sliver Armor due to the +50% attack speed. Greens will still drop in NM and because tomes won't, maybe your odds are a little higher. I'd still go HM.

Yea, I went reg mode today, in like a hour and a half I got 2, so now I'll farm in hm just for teh fun of it

HM gives better drops, farming NM is pointless, even for greens.
And bosses can drop up to 4 items so I don't think dropping tomes would decrease the chance of dropping unique items.

what's usually a good build for green farming hm? cause i haven't played gw in soo long just started again lol

btw. i searched the forum but couldnt find any for necro, monk, or wars

taco, i couldnt get any of those bosses to drop squat, and the necro one really likes to wipe me out with the degen+the stripping

Use a build that is capable of many green farms e.g. E/A or N/Mo, and move around the maps killing whichever bosses you can. Should get a handful of variety greens, rather than just farming 2 or 3 over and over again.
