Basically...
In PvE, Swords > Axes. Brawling Headbutt and "SY!" spam are far more powerful than anything else.
For PvP... Axes > Swords. Evis + Exe gets kills, and nothing the sword does really shines after you leave AB/RA.

Ahh... thank you kindly!
I was looking through my old old items from '05, and found some 15-22 sword w/ req 8... is that rare now?
Also, are shield handles not applicable to Prophecies/Factions shields?

Only vs. mobs. In single target DPS, a DSlasher owns.

actually swords are great in pressure builds where the warriors are supposed to get their own kills, dragonslash just owns in this role

Thanks for the input.
Another question - is adrenaline generated on a per-hit basis? Do skills like sun and moon slash or 100 blades generate adrenaline based upon each enemy hit?
Also, how much extra armor equates to the '-3 damage' that a knight's insignia grants? Is it equal to the +10 AL from other insignias?

yes any skill that grants multiple attacks will give you adrenline if you hit on all of the attacks.
-3 dmg is only for physical dmg so it wont work with elemental dmg.

Soldier's Stance would be good if it wasn't an elite, but since it's an elite it's pretty much a waste of your elite slot.

Quite a big difference between a PvE warrior and a PvP sin in a gimmick.

Well it's because it's PvE that it doesn't really matter.

DS gets infinite Brawling, positioning isn't significant, and you can use a weapon mod other than Zealous. Triple Chop benefits from on-hit effects like Splinter Weapon or Great Dwarf Weapon, but a Barrage ranger works better than a Triple Chop warrior.
