Build Help!
Hey GW pros!
I need your help here.
I'm a new player to GW. Now im only lvl 5. Currently just a warrior. And im confused on which second profession to choose. Don't forget to mention the skills that i need to create a 'great' character that will suffice both the PVE and PVP aspects. I want to create a sword-wielding warrior too.
I've read the builds stickied section too. But im not too sure which build to choose.

elementalist - shock is ftw!
(by the way,if you go warrior/monk avoid stuff like mending and healing breeze - only good monk skills to choose when you are a warrior are mending touch(removes 2 conditions) and a hard ressurection spell)
Rt is also good for death pact signet - but please say what campaigns you have

Most players go for a monk secondary at first thinking they can supplement their armor with healing spells BUT THIS DOES NOT WORK. Most warrior builds consist of seven Warrior skills with an optional support skill but that final skill is rarely nescesary. At first you should probably just experiment and play with whatever you want because after the first few missions you can change your secondary anyways.

I suppose I'd go with /E as its a pretty solid choice, but take note that by the time you can actually put it to good use, you'll be able to change it anyway. Not a very important decision for a new player, in my opinion. Its much more important that you use a rational attribute spread, probably focusing on your Warrior stuff at this point.

Also, if you go ele, don't do stuff like Hamstorm, which is [skill]Hamstring[/skill][skill]Fire storm[/skill]. This doesn't work either. And for goodness sakes, do NOT use meteor shower (I think that's a proph only skill, but good to know either way if you ever get it).

shock for the kd.
just dont overuse it,and PLEASE avoid trying to do an elementalist's job with whatever(AoE,blinding stuff, defending your own party with ele skills)
stuff like grasping earth may be good,as it has a snare the same as crippling in hex form AoE and cheap(basically good for a war)
,and it keeps enemies up close.
conjures are alright aswell

[skill]Shock[/skill][skill]Conjure Frost[/skill][skill]Conjure Flame[/skill][skill]Conjure Air[/skill][skill]Grasping Earth[/skill][skill]Winter's Embrace[/skill]
Those are the ele skills you should run if you're serious, there might be more but I can't think of them.

I am assuming you only have Nightfall, so don't use [skill]Shock[/skill] as it is exclusive to Prophecy.
My Nightfall warrior took Necro just to get [skill]Plague Touch[/skill]. As for the rest, just use warrior's skills [skill]Rage of the Ntouka[/skill] is a nice elite that you can get as soon as you have access to Signet of Capture.
[skill]Barbarous Slice[/skill][skill]Gash[/skill][skill]Final Thrust[/skill] is a nice combo.

Since you can change your secondary profesion as often as you like I would sugest you try them all once that option is available to you.
Dont be afraid to experiment in PvE, thats part of what its there for.
For PvP you really should look to the forums for advise, but keep in mind not every person that posts is an expert and some builds work better for certain play styles and not for others.
Find the build that you can master best, and have the most fun with.
