@ moriz: Except for more downtime. Since Expose is already run as a secondary Hex I indeed doubt it'll have a major impact

Hmm. Shadow Prison IS supposed to be an elite version of Dark Prison, similar to Energy Surge compared to Energy Burn, right? I think I'll just grab Dark Prison from now on if I need a shadow step -> snare...

Simple solution to Shadow prison.
Target foe is snared for 33% blah blah blah.
You warp to a nearby location near target foe. Gives monks more time to do something.

On the first kill, yes. But as the chain recharges in less time than SP I also use Expose as a substitute Hex req quite often.

25 seconds is still viable to me.

what's really strange is that there are no update notes for the skill balance. let's hope anet releases them later, because i don't feel like going through everything to check.
what we do know is that clumsiness got hit as well. 7s recharge, 4s duration.
*cough* nevermind it's out. buff to empathy? WTF???

doubled the unconditional damage for overload. how strange :S
assuming you get a few well coordinated mesmers, you can spike pretty damn hard with overload if you hit a caster casting aegis.
it's still bad though.
