Trouble with spider cave
I'm having serious problems with making it past the spider cave when doing FoW chest runs.
Anyone got any builds that can make it?
My 3 main running skills are
Escape
Natural Stride
Dodge

Try killing instead of running not an area to try running through things.

Actually thier all blocking skills against the spiders as they fire projectiles, dodge and its replicate zojuns haste, will both have a very high block rate.
Although it has quite a high recharge time, you might find [skill]Whirling Defense[/skill] quite handy, if you get in close to the Spiders with high Expertise you can actually deal a decent amount of damage through the blocks ^^

To be honest mate im not quite sure if thats possible. Your best bet is probably to trap? But with the EW nerf its made much harder. You can try and take the best bits from other prof's but it will be hard with a Ranger primary unless you manage to perfect your blockway.
Its all about your secondary profession. Some skills to consider..
[skill]Mist Form[/skill] + Glyph of Swiftness
[skill]Physical Resistance[/skill] + [skill]Troll Unguent[/skill]
[skill]Echo[/skill] + [skill]Dust Trap[/skill]

If you spam conditions you'll never kill Melandru's Resilience users.
Your best bet could be using Greater Conflagration and Mantra of Flame to tank and keep energy high, Natural Stride to block and use Troll Unguent and volley with a recurve bow to interrupt Healing Spring.
But it's just a bet, never tried it.

Brain fart -_-
Healing Sping isnt too much of a problem. Just keep pulling them out of it ^^ However I would favour Physical Resistance over Greater Conflag/Manta of Flame. The energy gain IS nice, but the armor bonus is so much nicer than the damage reduction ^^ And you also free up a nice elite slot.
What about Running Famine? Along with AV and SV?

[skill=text]Sympathetic Visage[/skill] and [skill=text]Ancestor's Visage[/skill] trigger on melee. The spiders are ranged.

The armor boost would be given by the already very high ranger armor against elemental with the mod against fire...looking at NF skills seems like there's a non elite version of Greater Conflagration that works only with arrows, so the elite would be free anyway...I think Barrage should work at this point, don't know... :\
The idea of E-Denial would be nice if it was possible running Famine and Quicksand together...
I'm gonna try anything... ^^

That actually sounds a very good idea :O
Something along the lines of...
[skill]Conflagration[/skill][skill]Mantra of Flame[/skill][skill]Barrage[/skill][skill]Savage Shot[/skill][skill]Distracting Shot[/skill][skill]Troll Unguent[/skill][skill]Natural Stride[/skill] and one more? Maybe [skill]Dodge[/skill]
The only problem is it may be very slow ^^ But I suppose it would work.

God im not with it today, just realised he's looking for a running build xD
I would really recommend [skill]Mist Form[/skill] for this? If your only going to be running the cave then then skill will be perfect. Couple it with Glyph of swiftness or Serpants Quickness and a +20% enchanting mod to keep it up all the time.
The only thing is this will hurt a LOT when you attempt to run through spell casters, so its not really suitable for anywhere but the cave.

If the Doubter's Dryders didn't use [skill]Shatter Enchantment[/skill] I would agree with you.
