I have been farming the first part of urgoz solo with my ranger where the first two spawns of Hopping Vampires and Thought Stealers. I have farmed that area about 19 times and there have been absolutly no drops at all. >.<
I was just wondering if they do drop anything?

This spot was nerfed sometime in May, if they die from using the life/energy stealing skill there will be no drops or exp for the player so putting down spirits won't work any more. A ranger can still farm that with trapping, but a lot slower.

That spot was nerfed...completely.

Used to be awesome for golds, but no more.

They still can drop stuff, you just have to somehow kill them while not having them use the suicide skill, i.e. trapping, except it'll take a lot longer and now with recent nerf to trapping builds I don't think anyone is still doing that farm.

Yes it's another case of *oh they're having fun getting nice things from an area

Let's spoil their fun and ruin it for everyone*

I know this is a cheap poke at the makers of the game but I think they're a bit 2 faced sometimes.

They release a game for people to have fun, people then proceed to have fun & anet or someone in that realm decides that they don't want them to have that much fun after all.....

If it wasn't for the friends i have ingame & my slightly deteriorating desire to win halls then I think I would have left this game a long time ago.

My 2 cents and don't bother trying that urgoz farm, it really really really isn't worth wasting your time.
