Your Favorite Insignia?
I'm looking to equip my PvE 'sin's armor with insignia now, and I'm wondering what everyone's favorite is. Nightstalker sounds good, since I'm attacking often and in-combat is when you need that boost, but Radiant also sounds nice because of the plus energy. Or should I take Survivors', for plus health? I thought I would see what everyone else recommends.

i run survivor on all usually, don't want armor insignias, if i'm getting bashed on, i cancel AoD or something, besides, with constant crit agility+defenses, who needs armor?
just my opinion, no reason for radiant, energy is always fine.

Survivor and radiants are the best.
I prefer to put survivor on everything
and put some runes of Attunement (its the energy one right)
on my shoes and legs, for 29 energy and about 565-610 health (depending if I use minor runes or majors)

Full survivor for me, +armor can be unreliable, since so much things go through it and extra energy isnt really helful, just weapon swap.

i usually run radiant on the chest and leggings and survivor on the rest. +energy is good. when you know when to bail, you dont need a ton of health.

Either + armor or + health is the way to go. Health is more reliable because it is condition-less and works vs everything but on the other hand armor greatly outperforms health if you meet the condition/right damage type hits you.
The reason I wouldn't suggest radiant is that your build should not be getting that low on energy. If you ever actually manage to get to 0 energy you will be stuck and unable to use any skill combos for at least 10-15 seconds, so its more essential that you strike a balance between energy gain and spending to keep yourself at a comfortable level all the time. If you can't do that, zealous daggers on switch should do you well.

As always it depends on your build and play style.
Think about what your trying to accomplish with your build and Sin in general and buy insignia's with that goal in mind. One person's preference may be complete crap for your game style.

All three of those are good choices. Personally I'd use survivor, but as others have said it's down to your playstyle and build.

My usual armor set has Radiant on the chestpiece and leggings, the rest is Survivor, giving me a total of 575 health (or 605 with my spear+shield set, ofc) and 30 energy. If I get a bit of DP, I'll still be able to perform chains at 15% DP, and if I somehow end up with 30, I could just switch to a +5e dagger set.

Unless your me and run chains that require over 35 energy and depend on at least 2 critical hits in it to work. lol

All survivor...
Armor insigignia is pretty useless because once you get an armor buff(Like SoR) you'll be over 25 and that's where your armor is capped and useless.

I think the armor buff does not neglect +armor from insignias. I thought the armor buff's only limit is towards +armor from skills; +armor from insignias does count.

I apologize, I've been misinformed, so it seems.
Quote:
The sum of all armor buffs gained from skills and effects cannot exceed +25. However, if one or more effects add more than +25 armor by themselves (for example +40 from Physical Resistance), then the largest of these effects counts as the total buff, even if it is larger than +25.

Thought effects = armor bonuses

you are 100% correct.
i usually run +15 while attacking insignia in PVE and the dmg from (example)
deaths swarm(the only one i payed attention to) was smaller.
i always had crit agility on and while not attacking the dmg was about 69, while attacking about 50ish

Survivor, end of topic. +health is pretty much the best you can get on armor. (In PVE), just bring Save Yourself on a DS spamming warrior.
