I can (almost) fully relate to that.

My current RA build:

CS 12+1
DM 12+1+1
DA 3

[skill]siphon speed[/skill][skill]black mantis thrust[/skill][skill]exhausting assault[/skill][skill]moebius strike[/skill][skill]death blossom[/skill][skill]restful breeze[/skill][skill]resurrection signet[/skill]

Does most things your build does. Breeze, to me, is more of an OMGSTOPTHEDEGENPLZ skill than an actual self-heal, but you know it's RA huh. Can be upkept at 0 Healing so it's all good - Siphon Speed lasts 8s at 3 DA so that's ample time to connect with BMT.

YAA!, to me, is far too conditional, and limits your usefulness even more.

Siphon Speed is great, it really is. But for me, it's one of those skills I can do witout because I'm so wtfomgawesome. Reactive kiting>having no speed boost/snare.

Reactive kiting + having a speed boost/snare> Reactive kiting.

You may think you're a god, but don't underestimate me.

i agree 100%. Reactive Kiting only does so much before the meta says we're not dumb, and adds in evasive tactics (which is has already). its not just as solid as a snare, especially when sins get some real badass hexes to do all the hard work for them. a run buff and a snare, easily put on more than one target in a a few seconds... thats just too good to pass up in a build like this. personally, i love run buffs from wind prayers/air magic, or even dash... but if i can squeeze it in, and it doesnt have a shadowstep, its sspeed allll the way.

Well, I like Unsuspecting Strike; get it off on a target with..... 90% life minimum and you just did 2 dagger strikes worth of +damage in 1 attack. If you're going to plan your attacks with a team, you can still go in first to get the most of Unsuspecting and have your team mates follow in suit.

YAA! despite using up your elite, is a shout thus you have no casting time, a much much larger range to pull it off, and two conditions, which I'm not sure which condition covers the other, but like he posted, you can set it up for jungle/trampling/lotus/twisting.

The downfall is that your target stays near allies -.-
And with SP-BMT you get the 15e you spent on two skills back in one
The energy regain from Lotus is later in the chain, so you'll need extra energy to pull it off, but it sounded like a good combo to me. A lot more damage at the cost of needing more energy.

What I meant by the radius is the radius of shouts; they affect targets just outside of the aggro range, which is better than half range of Siphon Speed.

But I understand the downfall; the near ally radius is rather large, and won't be easy to pull off, but a shout is instant to counter that downfall.

Don't forget that you also need to run all the way up to him. I was comparing YAA!-Unsuspecting to SP-Black mantis Thrust... not SSpeed-BMT.

You know the fact that YAA!'s an Elite makes it even crappier? Who the hell needs weakness on what's supposed to be instagib?

Crap, my post didn't go through the first time v_v

No, I thought you were talking about SSpeed, not SP; then there isn't much point in comparing YAA! to SP.

Yes I know YAA! being an elite people won't like it because it takes up their elite slot, go figure. And also there's this too...

Unlike most shouts, this skill needs a target who has to be inside normal casting range. If the target is too far away you will receive an error message.

But the Cripple is applied first and the Weakness is the cover; yeah Weakness doesn't help instagib, but the build is about using Jungle Strike which doubles it's damage with Cripple, which is 'almost' spammable next to SP which isn't, or what my focus was, SSpeed which is half range, 1s cast.

I guess the build in question is for RA, not some high end GvG where breaking meta is a sin for failure.

well in weakness defense, it lowers attribute by 1.

Thus a weakened monk has weakened healing!

Enso don't make me kill you with fire. I'm confused now! Here we are, talking about the virtues (?) of YAA!. While what we're supposed to be commenting on is Yan's multi-KD-I-don't-need-mobility-advantage-build.

Just keeping it on topic people.
