i am sorry to post this in the warrior section but i am desperate for cold or fire based sword for my conjur spell. i would prefer cold. can somebody help me find it in the game's stores and their location either in factions, nightfall or prophecies which ever is the easiest and cheap? i haven't tried trading with other people but it probably is complicated to time your transaction. i would rather buy it if possible. please help me so i can start using my conjur spell.

fire and icy sword hilt generally cost 500g - 1k if you buy them. It can be added into any sword. If you are on a budget, you can always buy a high req fiery dragon sword for a few k (platinum), it comes with a fiery sword hilt, and you can throw in whatever mods you want onto it.

Icy dragon sword, which is req 9 with a icy hilt and 15^50 dmg mod cost abt 10-15k from what i seen nowadays.

thanks for that. but where can i get icy and fire sword hilts and later on when i have saved some where can i get the icy dragon and fiery dragon swords?

There are no traders that sell icy/fiery sword hilts you will just have to buy one from someone else. Just go to Lion's Arch/Kamadan/Keineng Center district 1 and spam "WTB Fiery/Icy sword hilt!" until someone whispers you.

Go to any major town and watch the trade chat for the hilts and for the FDS and IDS as well.

IDS only drop in Mineral Springs which is in the Southern Shiverpeaks.

In-game, they drop occasionally as part of an Unidentified sword, and will show up as the prefix (hilt) mod when you ID it. An expert salvage kit will be able to retrieve the mod for use. However you don't want to have to wait till one drops I'm sure, so the easiest way would be to buy it. Use Trade Chat in a busy district of a major city to buy anything you want to get from another player.
