Made about 1750 of each item doing this for the weekend, along with 6 Ele swords, and a couple hundred golds. Was fun, but only did it because of the event items, else i wouldnt bother, perhaps wintersday stuff will drop, if so ill be making a return

Didn't want to read through eight pages, but need confirmation. Is this hardmode or not? Why isn't there just a template posted instead of a skill list? What's sprint for? How well does this work compared to the A/E build?

yes HM
sprint/enraging charge is for aggroing them
yes it works as good as the A/E (or E/A if you prefer) but it's a tiny bit slower imo...on the other hand it has more survivability.
I'm assuming there's no template because nobody asked for one to be posted yet.
Also this isn't pvxwiki.

I think ANET alrdy nerfed the spot.
Killing 30 raptors(including the boss) with the e/a build and only getting 1 white drop is just plain silly.

Its not nerfed. In about 2 hours time I collected approx 15-20k in gold and merchant fodder turned in to gold. I also got 12 gold drops. 2 of those drops were a req 9 tactic conch and a req 9 greater sage blade with +30 hp. I'm having fun while it lasts.
I was using warrior/rit vwk.
2 running skills is a waste. Its better to kill them in smaller groups, I got more drops that way vs. killing all at once.

Nerfed for me, definately. They really hate good farming spots.... or good farmers.

I dont use 2 running skills, just sprint, but I still aggro all of them, my exact build is:
Vwk - Wary Stance - Bonnetti's Defense - Dolyak Signet - Ancestors rage - Sprint - Defensive Stance (for when they are all following you on your way to the wall) - Signet of Stamina (Probably not needed but I feel safer with it and the run is still very fast)
But yeah, maybe there is still a farm code, going to do a few missions and come back to it.

Actually, I take Enraging Charge instead of Sprint because of the adrenaline gain to get Bonettis up faster if I need it. Definately no need for 2 running skills.

ANet has not done anything directly to the drop rates, the area is simply getting over farmed, everyone has been saying it since the start that everyone would soon be doing the farm, at which point the quality of drops will become particularly awful.
Especially after the weekend of special Thanksgiving items, everyone and their mums were farming this spot.
I can't really blame anyone for doing this run so much. In my opinion this is one of the few farming runs that is actually fun, and profitable, in a very long time. It's so easily done and is completed in such a short time that it can make the farm almost fun, like griffon farming was (some would say).
Please don't go blaming ANet or destroying 'your' particular farming spot, any place that becomes over farmed has significantly lower drop rates, and that has been a part of Guild Wars for a very long time.
Also, if you've been using the same character for 2 weeks on this spot, are you honestly surprised that the amount of items are decreasing?
If you don't like it (worse drops), get out there and find your own thing to farm, even post it if you like, if everyone posts a lot of good, fun farming runs, then no singular place would ever become overfarmed, keeping good drop rates! (That is until ANet actually nerfs an area :P )
ANet isn't ruining our fun, the damage was already done a long time ago with their farm codes and all that bollocks, so it's not entirley the fault of people completing the farm.
I think that's all of my mithering and pestering out of the way. Do what you like.

lol, ya your right! Anet loves to set up sweet farming spots, then enjoys taking them away. Its to easy, they had to put this farming spot there on purpose just to see what would happen and how long it would take for players to figure it out.

I tried this out last night. It's not nerfed, it's just the regular anti farm that exists everywhere. I started out getting lots of golds, and they trickled off to a slow stream of a few whites and saurian bones. Sounds like people new to farming claiming it's been 'nerfed'.
Anyways, I'm taking Air of Superiority and Radiation Field, pulling 22 at once, and basically blowing them up so fast that this is seriously contributing to the low drop rate.
It's pretty lame when you have to intentionally not be efficient to get good drops (ie, not pulling all at once, not blowing them up fast)
anyways last night's catch was 2 black dyes, 2 r9 tactics shell shield thingies, 1 r9 greater sage blade, 1 +30 hp shield handle, 12 sin tomes

A lot of superstitious farmers.
This is all about speed until it is nerfed. There is no anti-farm, who cares about loot scaling, I don't. You get some runs in a row with nothing worth picking up, then you get a couple multi rare per run trips that make up for your no drop runs.
It all evens out. I'm still getting 20-30 rares per hour with the E/A, and stacks upon stacks of the saurian bones. I sure hope they add a wintersday collector for them ( hint to the anet people that are reading this.)
