I believe GameCam is a better alternative for vids. Or Fraps. I don't use either (yet), but a large number of the vids I saw are made by those two.

Would this be possible for a Rt/W ? Or is the Strength essential ? Tactics can be boosted up more for [skill]Wary Stance[/skill] and [skill]Bonetti's Defense[/skill] and there are other options for a speed boost (I'm thinking of my stock of cupcakes here, but other things will do)

What about R/Rt here? With [skill]I Am Unstoppable![/skill] and I can't think of an anti-interrupt >.>

My guess is that in HM the lower AL (And loss of an effective Dol Sig) of Rits and Rangers probably means that you'd still die under VwK.

Knight's Insignias
+10AR vs Slashing shield with +30hp
+5AR Sword or Axe

Well, I have an 18 second I am Unstoppable on my Ranger, so I can use that. I can also use Great Dwarf Armor. That would make for +48 armor that I can keep up permanently, with a small down-time between Unstoppables.

I was talking about editors not recorders, as Windows Movie Maker does not allow me to save videos in widescreen meaning you get the squashed effect like there.

You'd be better off as a Rt/Me
VwK, Archane Echo, Mantra of Resolve, Physical Resistance, you'd probably be sorted, with no need for party favours.
Also if yuo wanted a speed boost you could use illusion of haste or something similair?

Isn't there some kind of armor buff restriction in HM? I think it's +30, attack avoidance would probably be better than an armor buff, but just do as I did and throw a bunch of random builds at it until you find one that works

The truth is this farm is doable with a lot of professions.

I've got a mesmer (yes mesmer) build that can do these in HM, it was a while ago so I'll have to re-check the skills to see if any of them were nerfed lately

If anyone is interested I'll post the (wacko) build

Armor stacking cannot surpass +24, after 24, it simply uses the highest armor skill you are using (any other have virtually no effect)

i'm doing this on my assassin, in 30 minutes i got 100k
including 1 r10 elemental sword, 2 black dyes and alot of gold crap ( 5 hp+30 for axe)
i always get a goldy, best is 4 goldies. :-)

To keep it short this ^^ is BS. I'm doing these runs for more than 1 week. Got 2 ele swords so far, some black dyes, a lot of golds and assa tomes. Once i got 4 goldies in 1 run. You do not always get a gold. Sometimes it's 3-4 runs without any golds. It's good farming spot but nothing exceptional. Well, ele swords are good, but they are still rare drops.

Maybe even the PvE Norn skill "You Are All Weaklings!" might be worth a try.

Shout. Target foe and all adjacent foes are weakened for 6...12 seconds.

Or something like Blind Was Mingson in VwK downtime.

Item Spell. Hold Mingson's ashes for up to 15...51 seconds. When you drop his ashes, all nearby foes are Blinded for 3...7 seconds.

Maybe try some them when you can.

its really not hard as a warrior/rit, just keep Dolyack and endure pain and bonettis while VWK is down!

Try and develop something yourself, you're going to need some kind of anti-interrupt, you could probably go with a blind skill on your dervish.
