well ur either not waiting for enough energy or your casting wrong. you only need 30 energy- 5 for gd, 10 for spirit rift, 10 for ancestor's rage and 5 for cyclone axe

Yeah, you're definently not waiting long enough. I'd wait till I have around full energy (like 3-4 off full). The combo should be faster than the duration of your Gladiator's Defense (I'd hope). So they shouldnt be connecting with you anyways and if they dont hit you that means they cant use fear me.

Graspings drain energy by adrenal skill fear me 4 adrenaline needed. Use gladiator defence before face them and hope they wont interupt yoıu with distracting blow.

It is good build but margin of error is very low. I can run w/rt almost indefinately making up to 5 mistakes each time and still do it successful. And the w/rt is great for people with high ping so it is more suggestable. This one is high chance per run to even make it out alive because after one mistake or bad spwn game is most likely over. Awesome build though I manage 3 full runs then on #4 the lizards just waiting in path prevented me from proceeding and there is no escape for rt/w unlike w/rt. The time it takes to kill them as a w/rt is longer but if you die even once during a run with rt/w midway the quickness of this build means absolutely squat. It was fun and challenging to test it out and it does work and is faster. Fastest run I did was only 11mins. So i think others with more experience with it can probably do around 9 on average. That is great compared to the 15 +/-3 for w/rt.
PS also if you get +15 energy -1 degen set (offhand + wand you will have absolutely no trouble with energy). It just a little more work switiching over from axe to set2 then back so dont be lazy=P.

This build ROCKS! I keep screwing up E/Me runs; this is almost as easy as W/Rt - but with killing on ultra fast forward.

With some more practice, I am up to 95% chance of completing the run, the only times I die anymore are if I accidentally aggro coldfires, or if the coldfires are not patrolling like they should, and are just waiting at the top of the hill.

The way I solve that problem is to run around for a couple seconds, getting the smites all grouped up, then run into the middle of them, when the first one hits you use glads def, and then start the chain right away, I never have them scatter, you just have to make sure that it only takes 3 seconds or they will run.

Yeah, use the 5 second duration (a small duration compared to sprint) of [skill]Enraging Charge[/skill]. To allow you to run basically.. through the smites to the "cluster point".
Be sure you are doing Spirit Rift->Drop Ashes->Cyclone Axe->Ancestor's Rage. Any deviation will result in the running of your smites.

So for the smites you don't do a second cast of Cruel, just drop the precast in the middle? That could explain why I'm getting pwned as often as not.

I precast cruel and splinter, mob them up and start my chain which is spirit rift>cruel>ancestors rage>and when I drop cruel spirit rift hits and they are all dead, only need for splinter weapon and cyclone axe is for the graspings.

I think Rt/D could work, just not as good, because the only time you hit with a weapon is when you use cyclone axe, which is better in cases where there are more than 3 smites around you.

A warrior secondary is important because of gladiator's defense.
