Default Dwarven Battle stance build?

I've been running this sort of build for ages, and it seems to work pretty well wherever i go. I was just wondering what people thought of it and maybe some critiques. I'm open to constructive criticism and am more than glad to discuss the weaknesses of the build in hopes of learning something useful.

Counter Blow
Hammer Bash
Dwarven Battle Stance
Belly Smash
Flail
Healing Signet
Endure Pain
Plague touch/ or some sort of res

Pretty high hammer mastery and strength (12 or 13 each), and 7 or so tactics.

I mean, you cant go wrong with constant interrupts and IAS for 10 seconds right? once that is over depending on the target i flail if the person decides to go toe to toe with me, if he runs i hammer bash (by then adrenaline has been built up). I usually follow up with a belly smash since it seems to cast really fast and can be chained quickly after the knockdown. I usually dont have too many energy problems, and this build seems to do very well against most classes i go against (maybe they all suck perhaps). signet and endure pain help ease off some pressure from the monks, plague signet if someone decides to give you some harsh conditions like blind and such.

Anyway, perhaps this build has been done already, I really dont know. I'm a bit new here. Thanks in advance.

counter blow should only be on your bar if you are planning to be sticking on melee guys the whole match.

belly smash --> crushing blow

heal sig or endure pain, one or the other (neither imo)

i think you mean plague touch, and yeah, why not.

what would u have in place of healing sig or endure pain? i used to like lions comfort but I always find that I never have that adrenaline when i want it (especially with with hammer bash on my skillset), plus if im trying to run away i cant really activate it like endure pain (if i have no adrenaline).

I put counter blow and belly smash in because I found that it makes my warrior a bit more versatile if play PvE, AB, or RA. I dont have to glue myself to enemy casters, and i could go back to help against other melee characters if need be. Actually maybe ill rethink belly smash and use crushing blow.

which isn't that bad.
Linebacking is pretty good with DBS.

another reason to bring counter blow, is On Your Knees to recharge DBS.
Combined with shock you can keep DBS up permantly

i never found Dwarven Battle Stance worth it.

Yes you can, what's the use of shutting down a character if you won't be killing it any time soon anyway ? The "ends if you use a skill" ruins it. A "simple" KD chain shuts down a character completely for 6/9 seconds, and you'll be doing way more damage (as you're free to use skills in between).

I see dwarven battle stance as an "annoyance" rather than a threat. If a monk starts kiting and limits himself to fast-casting spells you won't be killing him any time soon.

I never realized you could also pack skills that somehow replenish your energy and remove the exhaustion for a warrior

Agreed, 10 seconds IAS + interrupt with a cooldown of 30 seconds...

Endure pain is bad.
Lack of deepwound.

Try waiting for a buff to it imo...*cough*

i mean with 10 secs of interrupt u could really shutdown a person and at the same time do a lot of dmg. Hammer has the highest base dmg of the game, plus u got high str for armor penetration and high hammer master for high dmg and decent critical rate. Combine that with a 33% aspd? dont u think thats a lot? you could pick and choose what character u want to shut down, because u could basically shut down almost any character with this. you have a 10 sec recharge time whose gap can be filled by an IAS buff plus knockdowns. You could probably get in 2 hammer bashes in that time gap if u quickly follow up the end of DBS with a hammer bash and then one right before starting DBS again. If someone is kiting, you could always switch in either healing signet, endure pain, or plague touch, with either grapsing earth or siphon speed.

Strength bonus doesn't work with normal attacks

Use Dwarven Stability to keep DBS up indefinitely, and you can combine with Frustration to deal 20-30 extra damage on every interrupt. I haven't tried it myself but it sounds at least decent. Would probably want a zealous hammer since DBS and Frustration are both 10 energy.
