Im kind of new to playing ritualist and recently gave them a shot....this is what ive found to work best so far...
[skill]soul twisting[/skill] [skill]pain[/skill] [skill]shadowsong[/skill] [skill]mighty was vorizun[/skill] [skill]weapon of warding[/skill] [skill]mend body and soul[/skill] [skill]spirit light[/skill] [skill]flesh of my flesh[/skill]
attributes are 15 communing, 13 restoration and about 6 or 7 spawning power
I mainly use this is RA. The main idea is to keep shadowsong up constantly and pain up for about 80% of the time for support damage/blind and decent party healing.
You picked great healing skills, but communing, when used for damage-dealing spirits, is rather bad. Spawning power is terrible unless you're a spirit spammer, which is a heartbreakingly slow build.
I recommend taking all the points you have invested in Communing and Spawning Power, and putting those points into Channeling Magic instead. Replace [card]Mighty Was Vorizun[/card] and [card]Pain[/card] with [card]Ancestors' Rage[/card] and [card]Splinter Weapon[/card]. Replace [card]Shadowsong[/card] with a non-spirit blinding skill, like [card]Blind Was Mingson[/card] or [card]Weapon of Shadow[/card]. If you really want to use an attack spirit, throw [card]Bloodsong[/card] in there somewhere.
Ritualist Elites are really not that special, but I would recommend [card]Offering of Spirit[/card], for energy management.
Yeah, Communing is a terrible attribute outside of WoQ.
I'd recommend something along the lines of:
[skill]Ancestors' Rage[/skill][skill]Splinter Weapon[/skill][skill]Offering of Spirit[/skill][skill]Weapon of Warding[/skill][skill]Vengeful Weapon[/skill][skill]Mend Body and Soul[/skill][skill]Wielder's boon[/skill][skill]Death Pact Signet[/skill] or [skill]Flesh of my Flesh[/skill]
If you want to keep the Communing line, then....can't help you there.

I would drop soul twisting and take [skill]signet of spirits[/skill] or [skill]offering of spirit[/skill] instead. Depending upon what your ultimate goal is, which appears to be team support/healing, you may also want to consider [skill]nightmare weapon[/skill] or possibly [skill]weapon of shadow[/skill]

Well, communing as actually fairly strong in RA, as you're immobile for the most part, and people are morons. However, it's so unbelievably boring to run that you couldn't make me do it at gunpoint. A nice hybrid is actually not that strong, as splinter will do next to nothing, and you need to rely on having non-retarded melee anyway.
However, in his build it looks like he's going for a defensive build augmented by shadowsong for blind. I don't really think shadowsong is good enough to warrant 4 skill slots, though. Were I to run something like this in RA, I'd go with:
[skill]weapon of remedy[/skill][skill]spirit light[/skill][skill]mend body and soul[/skill][skill]recovery[/skill][skill]bloodsong[/skill][skill]weapon of warding[/skill][skill]essence strike[/skill][skill]holy veil[/skill]
with 12+1+2 channeling and 12+1 restoration.
Alternatively, you could go spawning power for energetic was lee sa, but that's dshot bait in a big way.
Come to think of it, I can't see any real advantages to running this on a rit. Grab a necro and go wild. Or, be like me and run a monk instead.

Actually I haven't played TA in a bit, but I probably will this weekend for the bonus (if my F list holds). It should bring back some of the other TA groups as well hopefully.
Right...
-Minor runes all the way (with anything other than Weapon of Fury, there is absolutely no point in running a major. Even then Fury builds aren't amazing)
-All spirits are D Shot bait.
-The pot sucks next to attribute free GoLE. If you can't go Rt/E, then forget it. You probably don't need e-management that desperately anyway tbh...
-A Rage is still godmode (needs to be sub 100 damage at 15 tbh), and warding is as golden as ever.
-Veil on a Rit is can be rather sexy (as is Cure hex).
-Warmongers is still godmode (this NEEDS to be 15 energy, or numerically limited like Splinter/Nightmare...).
-Sundering Weapon looks interesting... That's all I'm going to say about it right now ^_^ (Not entirely sure if it's the case, but it will still be kinda' sucky if it's not (+)10 AP)
-Weilder's Boon is sex on a Weapon bar.
-I might consider playing with Kaolai, even if it's marginal in 4v4.
-I feel there will be a lot of gimmicky 3 2 1 spiking so... Packing the full range of +10 shields!!! (Although that monk build I saw last time I played still seems to be popular...)
So yeah, if I run rit this weekend, this is what I'll be thinking about. Depends on what the other guys want to do though. We might play some silly stuff instead like dual Dervs with the hax Pious Assault (the new over-powered nonsense of this season), but I can't see those bars yet.
If you want to keep the Communing line, then....can't help you there.
I know the Splintered Ancestry Hybrid is the best rits have to offer at the moment; but, that the the build knowledge (for some 'vets') goes no further than it, is freaking painful to see.

For RA [skill=text]shadowsong[/skill] is quite neat; because of the physicals there, its pretty much guaranteed to be more effective than bringing 2 adjacent AoE skills to RA, you probably won't ever have more than 2 foes standing adjacent to each other.
I trust you chuck Pain up before the match starts and use [skill=text]soul twisting[/skill] on it, so when things actually start your shadows song can recharge instantly.
It will work, but [skill=text]soul twisting[/skill] for just [skill=text]shadowsong[/skill] is kind of a waste, you only need to bridge 15 seconds on inactivity, wasting a skill slot and an elite just for that is a waste.
If you use [skill=text]Ritual Lord[/skill](the free elite PvE rits get) or [skill=text]Weapon of Quickening[/skill] you can do the same.
[skill=text]soul twisting[/skill]Is only really useful for the spirits that have a really problematic gap, like [skill=text]Earthbind[/skill], [skill=text]Soothing[/skill] or [skill=text]Shelter[/skill](if only twisting offered cost reduction too, then this would be an awesome combo).
If you are not taking 1 of those then taking something else over [skill=text]soul twisting[/skill] is probably better.
[skill=text]Blind Was Mingson[/skill] is crap, why would you walk up to foes if you could use [skill=text]Weapon of Shadow[/skill] from relative safety, and more accurate protection.
The recharge of it however makes it more of a 1 target spike-preventer/ohshi- skill than the group suppression shadowsong offers.
The damage from just pain ain't much, I'd suggest another spirit, but I fear you might get into trouble with energy.
For the healing you chose the 3 best healing skills for the rit, though as you plan to have [skill=text]mighty was vorizun[/skill] up 100% of the time, I wonder if it wouldn't be useful to use [skill=text]Soothing Memories[/skill] to get better energy management out of Vorizun.
Vorizun isn't great energy management, all the good energy management is in channeling(except energetic but thats a waste of attribute points) hence why it is so good.
I however think that for RA the blinding offers a bigger advantage the AoE damage from ancestors and splinter, so I suggest this:
[skill]Wielder's Boon[/skill][skill]Mend Body and Soul[/skill][skill]Resilient Weapon[/skill][skill]Weapon of Quickening[/skill][skill]Weapon of Shadow[/skill][skill]mighty was vorizun[/skill][skill]shadowsong[/skill][OPTIONAL]
Communing 12+1+1
Restoration 12+2
Spawn 3+1
The key thought here is support, not only you can benefit from [skill=text]Weapon of Quickening[/skill], any allied spell caster can.
Which is where [skill=text]Wielder's Boon[/skill] comes in, it's like a spirit light that can still be used even without a spirit, becasue you are tossing a long duration quickening over at least 1 other ally every now and then.
Go easy on [skill=text]Weapon of Shadow[/skill], while weapon of quickening might make it possible to maintain shadow on 1 ally, if you go spamming it around, you will not have any energy left for healing.
[skill=text]Resilient Weapon[/skill] can be replaced with [skill=text]Resilient Was Xiko[/skill] if you feel you are bing targeted too much, and it allows you to still have quickening on yourself while you resist the hexes and remove the conditions.(remember you shouldn't drop Xiko, you recast it, so it drops automatically)
For the optional slot, you could take a rezz(hard, or signet) but consider [skill=text]Remove Hex[/skill], [skill=text]Holy Veil[/skill] or even [wiki]Cure Hex[/wiki] quickening will make those pretty fast and efficient hex removers.
As taking the time to rez in RA can counter productive, becasue of the 4-6 sec casting.
Als je er een beetje mee oefent zit je zo in de team arena's.

doesn't weapon of remedy get rid of hex or am i making things up?
haha, that would be awesome but no
On topic, you aren't really using your elite to its full potential. If you want to use soul twisting, stick to maintaining a single powerful spirit like shelter.
Also, you might want to try out some other elite skills, like weapon of remedy and spirit channeling. Both are great choices for the rit class.
Why are you using Dutch in your last line? (yes I'm Dutch)
Congratulations

Sides, it offers a personal touch, positive discrimination and all that.
