Any thoughts on the E/Mo Master of Magic smiter? A PvE Smiter doesn't have to be a Monk primary, I sometimes run this on a hero -

[skill]Master of Magic[/skill][skill]Reversal of Fortune[/skill][skill]Guardian[/skill][skill]Reversal of Damage[/skill][skill]Smite Hex[/skill][skill]Zealot's Fire[/skill][skill]Aegis[/skill]

You might dip out on the DF heal, but the damage output and energy management is fine on a hero. RoF and Guardian are to trigger Zealot's Fire. As a result AI scatter could be a problem in HM.

In response to the original post...

Replace Spear of Light with Smite. The reason is because Spear of Light is a RANGED spell and can be dodged/obstructed, while Smite is a pure spell.

Here's the bar I generally use...

Necrosis (if Mo/N) or Finish Him (if not Mo/N) [skill]Banish[/skill] Castigation Signet [skill]Signet of Judgment[/skill][skill]Smite[/skill][skill]Smite Hex[/skill][skill]Signet of Capture[/skill][skill]Rebirth[/skill]

One thing you have to watch out for on the signet smiters is Rust and other skills that impact signets.

..and Ensign was very very correct.. it's hard to be SUPPORT when you're the leader of a H/H team.

By Hero I assume you mean a Elementalist Hero? Because Master of Magic doesn't do a thing for a Monk or any other class because it will return a net energy of 0 with no energy storage.

Putting this bar on a nuker is kind of a waste IMO. A Elementalist's specialty is dealing out mass amounts of damage, not protecting and casting support spells in the background, thats what the other casters are for. But if you want to run it on a hero go right ahead I guess just don't bring that build into a PuG.

Sig of devotion
Reversal of damage
Judges intervention
Blessed light
Smite hex
Smite condition
Smiters boon
Zealots fire.

If you require E management, take defenders zeal for the elite.

not in hard mode its not. eles (should) run warders and things when their nukes do almost no damage.

Smiter's Boon and some of the other new smite skills got me away from my usual rc/prot lark and I ended up with this: (for Fort Aspenwood I should say)

16Smite/13DF

Reversal of Damage
Smite Condition
Smite Hex
Castigation Signet
Shield of Judgment
Dash
Signet of Devotion
Smiter's Boon

Boon is brilliant with the first 3 skills. Boon, RoD, SC and SH should be on every smiter's bar.

Shield of Judgment is more of an Aspenwood thing, where Luxon hammer trains are an everyday nuisance I have to deal with. For regular PvE I'd take the Signet instead and also drop Dash (another Aspenwood skill).

Carinae's build with Divine Boon and Spirit and Signet of Judgment looks hot for straight PvE, especially heroes. I'd go with that one.

Age, I think you'd be better off using Aegis and a Protection healing skill instead of Heal Party.

Yep it's an Ele and i agree, it's a wasted slot. It's about the only workable Zealot's Fire build (i can think of), posted in response to Coloneh. No chance i'd run this in any way, shape or form aside from experimenting with the Smite line. It works but it's weak - i suppose you can say that of most Smite builds.

I will give that a try as well then I can put in stance instead of GoLE.

I moved over to Blessed Light and Glyph, so my only damage is indirect unless I keep Castigation Sig. RoD, SC and SH are my damage, and it cleans/prots my party too
