Default Disrupting chop or Agonizing Chop?.

i am currently running this build on my warrior for PVP.

[skill]frenzy[/skill][skill]eviscerate[/skill][skill]executioner's strike[/skill] [skill]shock[/skill][skill]bull's strike[/skill][skill]rush[/skill][skill]resurrection signet[/skill]

Strength - 12 + 1
Axe Mastery - 12 + 1 + 1

Now i know there is only 7 skills there because im not too sure which disrupt to use Some people say...

[skill]agonizing chop[/skill] - Because it deals additional damage and interrupts but its down fall is it can only interrupt while the foe is suffering from deep wound but that is eviscerates job.

And others say...

[skill]disrupting chop[/skill] - As it can interrupt even when a foe is not suffering from deep wound and it disables the skill they were using for an additional 20 seconds. but again it has down falls such as it does not do any additional damage like agonizing chop.

Which one would you suggest?

Thanks.

Disrupting Chop. Agonizing is nowhere near as scary after the activation-time nerf.

Disrupting lets you throw around random interrupts outside of spikes, and it can seriously cripple a monk if used well.

Disrupting Chop = 6 adrenaline d-shot

d-shot = godly.

BTW wrong forum, this is for PvE last time I checked.

Shock axe is definitely a fun build to use, hope you do well with it. I use dis chop instead of agonizing because of the nerf to agonizing.

Or luckily if you get protective spirit or other 1/4 spells.

It is the only old build from prophecies that works well without any other campaigns also.

So do you mean to say there are better warrior PVP builds than the shock axe? if you have all the campaigns because i have all 3 bar GWEN.

Or am i right in thinking its def one of the best around.

It is one of the best around. And it also happens to consist solely of proph skills. I would recommend dchop, or if you have EotN, distracting strike works in the same way agonizing used to.

distracting strike needs cracked armor. Cracked armor is a condition that will be removed by RC prots and other condition removals really fast in PvP (mending touch).

He ment the 1/2 activation time, as that is what aganizing chop was used for before, they would use it in spikes because the 1/2 activation.

Well there are other PvP builds that compare to shock axe as useful but they require other then prophecies to run well.

And it is one of the best around. Kicking ass since day one and still does.

Ive been using Disrupting chop for a while now. I use a old W/R Tiger Stance build. Once I can get the monk running I will hit D-Chop and 3/4 of the time I manage to get their self heal. As mentioned before Disrupting chop can be thrown around a bit more and has more of a chance to hit and "Black out a Skill".

My vote for Disrupting Chop. One less skill on a monk's bar has proven fatal too many times.

Skills keep people alive. Remove skills, you ain't alive no more right? ^_^

I use Agonizing for PvE since damage is of great importance and even though nerfed, I have a fearfull spike in Eviscerate, Agonizing, Critical Chop, Exe. Strike.

Only stupidly high armor foes can resist THAT kind of a spike and even so, I do run around with Barbs or Weaken Armor just for those occasions ^_^

Absolutely disrupting chop. The disable is worth much, much more than the damage, and the disrupt isn't conditional.

As everyone else here has said...D-chop is an old favorite amongst axe wars...definitely more useful than agonizing...
