I am having extreme difficulty capping this skill. Did anyone else have a problem?
I know that if I had any of my other characters I could go out in Mineral Springs no problem. But with my weak a$* monk, I'm having a lot of problems. How did you guys do this?

If you have such problem, just buy an elite monk tome and cap SoJ on other char/buy it for 3k faction.

Elite Monk Tomes are too much.
And I have used henches and heroes, it's not like I was trying to solo. But those little stone summits just obliterate the henches.

Take an Ele Hero with Ward against Melee and Eruption and Unsteady Ground.
Take another passive defense skill like Defensive Anthem...or Aegis.
Maybe take a minion bomber? Loads of those sort of builds around.
Other than that, just make a wise choice of henchies to compliment your heroes and lure groups carefully.

I remember having trouble there too for well of power, until I pugged with someone who was really into pulling.
We'd flag the H/H somewhere, then 1 of us would run just far enough, hit X to turn the screen, and run back, we made it in 1 try.

You haven't told us what skills you have access to. If you can use Factions/NF/EoTN skills, Mineral Springs should be a walk in the park, frankly.

Make sure you don't have Defend Droknar's Forge in your quest log.
I don't see why you'd be having a much harder time with your monk...
Anyway, give us more info like Burst asked for as well as the build(s) you are using.

It wasn't that hard to cap this PreFactions as only Prophecies it is not so hard just grind away at it.

Don't over aggro. The only annoying portion I can really remember were the Avicara, but Aegis > PvE

It's not hard to cap, just takes a long time to get there. And the random boss spawns suck.
Bring a good MM Hero, good Fire Ele w/ Ward Against Melee/Stability Hero, and a good interrupt (Mesmer or Ranger) Hero. Good meaning good skills/spells and build.

An MM hero in normal mode is a very useful friend to have, especially in areas like tasca's where the dwarves will mob you. it makes for a very reliable tank when you H/H. Kite through the horde and your squishiness will be less of an issue.
Ward of stability or (if you eotn) dwarf skills are equally recommended for the KD spam.
I capped it in GWP before Factions or anything else came out and, like all skill caps, henched it (all henchman team and me; when was the last time anyone here did that!) so as not to hinder a group with a 7-slot monk. those were the days eh? No flagging the team when you needed to pull mobs, 7 stupid henchman bars with AI that would charge in while stefan tried to be a monk and alesia tried to tank.
good times...

Ward AGAINST Stability? Hmm interesting lmao! Why would you want a ward against stability?
To OP: Yes just buy a tome if you find it hard to cap.
