Life After Wintersday
I started playing about half way through december. I quickly found that people were buying as many CC shards, charr carvings, and stormy eyes as they could load up on. After i leveled up to level 11 or so, i made this my primary goal and started farming. Now that wintersday is over, the demand for these things is fairly non existent. My next thought was to find collectors that traded for sweets or alcohol so that i could sell this to people. Unfortunately, I only have prophecies and there are no (to my knowledge) collectors that trade for alcohol or sweets. So, my question is, as a level 12 warrior, is there anything in particular that i should be farming? Or should I continue to work on quests and level up to be able to do some of the other farms described in this forum?
Thanks!

there is pretty much no system for new players implemented in the game for new players to become rich enough to afford any really high end items....itd take a long time for you..i suggest you jsut complete all the campians and you get some money off of that...then as a warrior look around...running services may fit you though yuo probaly cant farm too much with a warrior id say running droks is a big one for you and runnig lutgardus(factions) for survivor peeps might help but really its hard for a new player to make it big in this game
i hope i helped in game name i am not crazy if you have anymore questions
you can make money off of anything really...i used to elite ele tome farm alot and i made 200k there but its hard to make money now...what a lot of richer guys do i think is merchant..you need like 400-500k to do this and have to know the economy really well but you merchant things like minis weps..anything then if your REALLY rich high end minis as well as other items there is probaly a guide on this somewhere so i wont go any deeper

To start with I would say go and enjoy the game and play through the storyline.
Don't worry about farming things at this early a stage in your GW life
Hey there's a whole world out there to explore

Agreed. Don't worry about farming as lvl 12 war who has proph only. You need all 4 games completed and a huge amount of experience to be a somewhat efficient farmer, and just starting out as you are now, you are WAY behind that curve.
Just play and enjoy. Explore the pretty surroundings, don't box yourself into grinding already.

GW is a nice game. Enjoy the story line and get some friends. Find a guild(PVE/PVP) if possible. There's a lot of fun doing the missions and quests. Leave farming later. You need to finish the campaign to open Hard Mode. being 20 lvl also makes your farms easier.
Also, try to learn the mechanics first. Some farms need some tricky skills.

If you just started in December you don't need to be worrying about high level farming yet, especially if your not even level 20. Play through the game, this will yearn the gold you will need as a beginning player.
