Default Rit Rez Skills

I guess this question could be both PVE and PVP. Excluding the Rez Signet, what are you bringing on your Rit for Rez? [skill]Flesh of my Flesh[/skill] - I see this used alot on the forums...is losing half your life worth it with this one? [skill]Death Pact Signet[/skill] - this skill is interesting...but it scares me...I like the low cast time, but to me you REALLY baby sit that one character to make sure he/she doesnt die....and I wouldnt think its useful in PUGS when you get kamakaze players LFG. [skill]lively was naomei[/skill] - crazy slow and easy to interrupt if needed that instant...can be precast and used when needed, rez multiple people if needed...but im not to hot on the hold item thing. So, what is it you guys are taking of the rit skills?

res sig or flesh of my flesh is the safest imo
fomf has got a short recharge and the health loss can be countered with a single WoH

Death pact could be nice tho with his high energy return if you use a 30/-2 set with it, but I don't like the skill in PvE

naomei is a nono

Flesh of My Flesh is the only one I bring. Though I almost never take a res as I usually play with henchies and well, I don't care enough for them to res them.

DPSig with friends and guildies, if your party don't suck this is the best res available.

FomF if I ever PuG, it won't get me killed and I can patch up with Kaolai/MBaS or something after easy enough.
Or maybe Rebirth if the PuG looks like a disaster waiting to happen.

For RA and other arenas, generally Res Sig. FomF ain't too bad in theory if you're packing a heal with it, but that 4s cast is asking to have a Savage/Leak/axe planted in your helpless face.

Lively is just.... bad. No energy sucks, you rarely need that multi-res and needing to hold Naomei all the time for it to not be total fail means no Kaolai, which makes kittens sad.

The only reason to bring lively is to rez through frozen soil.

This makes no sense...I could understand if it was Diablo 2 or something, but without a team in Guild Wars you die.

If the henchies wipe, just start over.

Who wants subpar teamates with Death Penalty?

Death pact signet-is-the-shit.. in GOOD teams. insane fast and good rez for a team with low casualties. if your in a sucky team with casualties every 3 seconds, go with flesh of my flesh.

Just because they are subpar still doesn't really justify starting over if one of them dies.

I said if the henchies wipe.

They can rez themselves.

If you're the only one left, then it's best to start over with a fresh team.

Flesh/Flesh is my favored rez for PVE, as I only Hero/Hench. With that said, if you want to recover the health quickly, there's any number of skillbar options. Even with 3 points in Resto, you can bring along any number of self-heals, Spirits that heal you, (such as Vampirism,) your secondary profession, (usually Monk) and Hero/Hench Monks.

I run a Rit/N Minion Bomber build, so I bring Taste of Death to regain my health. Animate from a retard Henchy, Flesh/Flesh, Taste of Death. I'm up one minion, and my Henchy is back. After a few deaths, I regard my henchies the same as a Flesh Golem: Just a corpse-source. I try to protect my Heroes, though.

Death Pact Signet with friends, guild members, allies, etc. As long as it's a capable team you should be fine. And even if there is a mishap and you go down, deaths due to Death Pact Signet don't accumulate DP.

Flesh of my Flesh for everything else. I'm all set making pacts with pugs. No thanks.

Naomi = fail. Anet should delete it and replace it with something useful.

It is useful. Repeating for the 3rd time in this thread:

IT IS USEFUL TO RES WHEN USING FROZEN SOIL. Got it? Good.

You use it in dungeons like Slaver's Exile where mobs constantly res each other, requiring Frozen Soil to counter.

So it's useful for one dungeon? Awesome.

Death pact is my choice. No energy no health lost and reusable signet.
