I used it in some AB and RA format's it can be fun. You can chain [skill=text]iron palm[/skill] with it and then pick your skill after that. They cannot cast back at you due to daze and they die real fast. I had quite a few people get mad at me for using it, lol. But I'm no expert in PvP. There may be some downsides that I don't know about.

I have only used this elite in PvP, but never had much use for it in PvE since there are probably alot of better ways to interrupt the enemy such as Hench skills and Heroes have amazing reflexes for it. As for PvP i suggest you use the elite and follow it up with Leaping Mantis Sting because most targets will runn away once dazed. If cripple suceeds follow up with a quick spike of Jungle Strike and go from there (Horn of the Ox/Trampling Ox --> Falling Lotus Strike/Falling Spider Strike --> Twisting Fangs/Blades of Steel)
Just some suggestions

one o my fave Elites~!
well the downside is the short daze duration ~ will need it w/ Silencing Daggers in PvP (not necessarily in PvE tho .. the target oughta die soon enough there .. except for maybe Monk Bosses) ..
.. and the expense, I use a full Radiant outfit in builds that use this, and an e-management skill ~
.. like Zhang says, it has no snare capacity either, and any half~awake foe will run, so you're gonna hafta crowd a snare or KD in your bar too ~ presnaring usually means an automatically dead target, but you may miss out on the surprise of interrupting if you try to snare first ..
also note that this only interrupts spells (as a function of Daze, not cos of any interrupt capacity in BH itself), no other action is affected (including Rituals)
as it stands, it's a nice surprise skill but way from being the most potent, too expensive in terms of energy/recharge, and results in a very busy skillbar ~ plus there are heaps of counters to your followup that aren't affected by Daze ..

Once I get Iron Palm, I'm gonna use that [skill]Beguiling Haze[/skill] elite in AB.
This'll be fun :P

To add on to that, many survival skills, such as Natural Stride, Dark Escape, Shield Bash and whatnot, are not spells.

Shadowy Burden is, like, REALLY bad, IMO better replaced with an offbeat Ele skill, preferably a Hex or an Enchantment. Or Paradox, of course... but that results in some horrible Assacaster variant.

No because Burden cancels with another hex Haze is a condition. Besides burden is crap compared to [skill]siphon speed[/skill] and Haze is garage anyway...
