I chose it today after finish the mission because it looks very cool, but is it really as good as Ceremonial Daggers? Is there any + health reg gear so I won't have to switch it of while not fighting?

what ever you do, don't use mending, the best thing you can do with a vamp weapon is to not have it equiped when you are not fighting, use an IAS to gain more out of the life stealing, also Vigorous spirit can add to you healing.

Well, if you're filthy rich you could buy a whole bunch of bowls of skalefin soup, which give you +1 regen for 10 minutes. Realistically, just switch the things off, not that hard.

the only difference between ceremonials and shiro's are the requirement. ceremonials are 9 dagger and shiro's are 13. shiros are 13 because of the very cool unique skin. you should have 13+dagger at all times anyway.

Shiro's Blades are Vampiric Daggers.
Ceremonial Daggers are Zealous ones.

I prefer using Zealous Daggers anywhere, my most recent acquisition would be Nihil's Daggers, quite hard to find, but there's hardly any demand.

But when messing around in RA or AB's, I sometimes grab my own Shiro's Blades, in case I'm using a build that doesn't require zealous daggers to be sure the combo will work. It often just helps the chain a little more (killing the 100AL doll in 4 seconds = wewt)

Oh, and all my dagger sets are slashing damage, since hardly anyone brings Bladeturn Refrain, even Shields Up! sees more play afaik.

IAS = Increased Attack Speed

Zealous is the way to go. Even with those, though, I still switch off when not fighting to get back energy faster.

You're best bet is to have multiple sets. On my sin I carry a barbed set, a sundering set, an elemental set (for warriors) and Zealous set and switch as needed.

hmmm well i havnt been on gw for a while because im waiting for my new computer to come in, and even longer since i was on my sin but last time i logged on shiro's had a req. of 15 - dunno if that has changed - if it has that is awesome.

It used to be req 15, but it has been changed to 13 for both dagger and sword version.

Weapon Swap = Answer

d00d? ALWAYS carry Zealous, Vamp, and Elemental Daggers. The 4th pair, I reserve for build specifics - currently mine is Crippling.
