If you have access to Avatar of Melandru, you can get Eternal Aura.
So why the hell would you need Purge Conditions? You could use Mending Touch instead, but even that is pointless to bring.

Along the lines of his idea, i think he meant: [skill]Draw Conditions[/skill]

Couple ideas
Monk- Condition / hex removal
Mesmer you could use a [skill]hex breaker[/skill] or hex removal with a energy gain you could also have a stance for increased protection
Ranger (in PVE you can place symbiosis) If you are running enchantment you can get in the 1k range of hit points. Works in pve since ai uses only 1-2 enchantment at a time
Hekets rampage is nice for speed increase
Rit- Death pact / weapon spells
Warrior - Wild blow Frenzy

D/R: [skill]apply poison[/skill]
D/P: [skill]signet of return[/skill]
D/N: [skill]plague touch[/skill]
D/E: [skill]glyph of lesser energy[/skill]
These are just 1 example of what you can use from the 2ndary.
I have a D/Mo because Monk 2ndaries have skills that dervishes don't have or don't have enough of (constant hex removal, hard rez, good condition removal, fast enchantments).

I wouldn't go /Mo. If you're ever in a situation where you need 'constant hex removal' on yourself, go Dwayna. For hard res, /Rt is better for DP sig. Condition removal = Melandru. And D's have plenty of fast enchantments.
D's actually have most of the tools you'd ever need on a frontliner. /W is one of the better (best?) choice simply because of Wild Blow, Prot Strike, Distracting Blow and IAS stances.

/A for [skill]Signet of Malice[/skill] combined with [skill]Wearying Strike[/skill] to get a viable Deep Wound if you use AoL or Ebon Dust Aura or some non-scythe elite.
Apply Poison on a Dervish... WTF? You'd get about 5028375*1093234^24067 more damage out by just using that 15 energy on Scythe skills.

dont using signet of malice with wearying. its a stupid, slow, useless combo. there are plenty of better ways to apply deep wound, try Augury of Death

It's a pity you can't get AoM and Martyr on the same bar (yes, there is one exception, but it doesn't really count). It would be quite funny.
