Since I prefer having a hero MM, and since I don't trust them w/ health sacrifices, I stay away from AotL or OoU on them.

I prefer to Jagged Bones on my heroes, simply because I always notice how bad the heroes can be with Animate Flesh Golem. They don't wait for their existing Golem to die before re-using the skill and so waste the free corpse.

I may be mistaken, but I think enemies will ignore the Golem if they have a squishier target.
I personally think the elite summons aren't worth the elite slot. They are good, but there are better stuff.

Are you talking about signatures? Some of the mods and elite gurus have them under all their posts. In order to do that you have to become an Elite Guru, which means paying money. You get some other perks as well, though I don't know off the top of my head what kind of perks.
Also, please for the love of all things good, stop typing in all caps!

flesh golem is a terrible elite for a few simple reasons:
1. most of the time it just runs back and forth between targets getting ready to swing. most creatures drop before thins thing raises its ar/hammer/whatever.
2. you wouldnt want to blow it up
3. long recharge for 1 minion
4. the only area where it shines is areas with few corpses(why would you need a mm anyway?) to keep up a minion constantly, and when you are doing this, this is easily outclassed by Jagged Bones.
it just offers no advantage over any other elite skills.

Pretty sure Bone Fiends have higher dps too. Flesh Golem is probably the worst thing you can put on your bar for an elite skill on an MM.
I'd rather Restore Conditions.

i hope the OP isnt serious.... caps lock? turns people off, even during the mating season.
the three basic MM builds are:
minion spammers (have like 4 minion-typed skills, a heal area, heal minions, and rez)
minion bomber (has a flesh golem and a bunch of horrors, when they die they cause disease)
*NEWEST BUILD THAT I JUST FOUND* SS necro with a bunch of horrors/vampiric. that one is teh sexorz -- turns people back on after your caps lock.

Dont rule out this : [skill]tainted flesh[/skill]
I use on MM occasionally - might work out better on a hero tho
EDIT: That is one muscular skeleton in the skill icon, lol

People always forget about [skill]Aura of the Lich[/skill] because it seems like such a useless spell. However, a team of 4 MM's can survive and maintain a steamroller army. It halves your life, halves all damage - including sacrifice percentage. So, if you'd normally sacrifice 50% health or even 80%, it would take the percentage down by half. Since your health is halved as well, it makes for a 12.5% sacrifice cost.
480 health 50% sac = 240 health remain
240 health 50% sac cut in half (25% of 240) = 180 health remain
25% of 240 is 60, or 12.5% of 480. Much less pressure on monks keeping you from becoming the next bone fiend.
CoP the spell off, and it will top your life off. It also has a very fast recharge and low cost, it's an easy spam army maker. No need for Heal Area, just spam BotM. The only weakness is degen, but your monk has condition and hex removal, doesn't he?

Yarrr! I got tempbanned twice.
Once for utterly obvious sarcasm, I was even helping the guy!
And the second time for again, sarcasm/trolling/pure irony but I don't quite remember what thread....oh yeah...it was a freekedoutfish's thread... "<something> isn't fun". My reply: Anal probing isn't fun either!
