Paragon is also one of the better options. You get the fast attack speed of a warrior, the shield to help with defense, and range to stop bad things from eating you. Assassin is a bit too fragile to be all that awesome.

Assassin is fun but yeah, rather fragile.
I've had some fun playing with Dervish and getting splinter to proc off of scythe swings. Great survivability too.

Yeah, pretty much every melee class besides warrior, but that's just my opinion.
You can do /Ranger and plow things over with Volley, splinter weapon, and Spirit's Strength.

Warrior is Viable with Spirits Strength. Try Cyclone Axe, Whirlwind Attack, and splinter weapon.
I usually use Para, it just seems to have the most utility.
Dervish is kinda fun. SS, Aura of Holy Might, Vital Weapon, Victorious Sweep, and you're good to go.

have you ever tried wanding to death?
Rt/E
use Spirit's Strength with a combination of Conjure _____ that corresponds with a staff/wand element that you are using
while also using Weapon of Agression
fast attacks while also doing about 80+ dmg per attack
and the fact that you can also use the spells of the type of element you choose
some suggestions:
Fire --> Mark of Rodgort (Constant Burning)
Air --> Shell Shock (Cracked Armor)
Water --> Shard Storm (Snare)
ive tried it before, and its pretty fun and surprises the enemy if not anything else

Does Aura of Holy Might increase the damage of Spirit's Strength? If so, that's a winner right there.

I'd go for Para...Spear Rt beats spirits any day for PvP.

You'd think so, but between the insanely slow attack speed and large number of enchants, you only get around 30-40 DPS, while a spear guy can push 50-60.

I don't know if it modifiest spirits strength or just the base of the sythe. It's still fun to hit for 80+ for most hits in an area of effect though =P

That it is. With asuran scan and aura of holy might your crits will hit for well over 200. It's just so absurdly slow that you end up not doing that much.

If your tying to be a Melee char then why cast 2 sec hexes? :S
I prefer RT/W but that's my opinion.

Because Asuran Scan only triggers on actual attacks? And 6-12 seconds of +50-75% damage is fairly sexy? Especially when mixed with an IAS.
