I think I see your problem. Maybe charm animal and conjure are better than your normal ele skills? Charm animal is pretty good. It's no meteor shower, but it's pretty good.

What? What game were you playing when you saw staff mastery as an attribute line for a E/Ra? It certainly doesn't exist in Guild Wars.

As to running a E/Ra build, only time you should even think about it is when trying to farm totem axes. I started out as a E/Ra and it stinks!

As has been said before, 80% of winning in RA is pure luck, luck in getting a good team, luck in getting a bad opposition team...... You can easily run a uber PvP build in RA and get massacred, then run a stinking build that wouldn't even work in low end PvE and be on the side doing the massacering! Oh the times I have gone E/N purely so I could run a bar with life siphon on it and gone on to win 10 in a row, purely from combining self healing with life stealing with extra damage from the rest of my bar...

Erm, no? Try reading your damn attribute menu. Staff Mastery is available to all 60 AL classes.

I think that you mean a STAFF WRAPPING of mastery, which gives you +1 to the attribute of that staff. I repeat, there is no such attribute line as staff mastery. Try looking at your own attribute menu, as I double checked mine before posting, and I double checked on Guild Wiki.

Srsly. Casters without points in staff mastery are just as bad as melee without points in their weapon of choice.

Once I got a glad point ( before the 3x glad point update ) with a group of 3 warriors and 1 W/Mo with a wand and healing skills.

I think what happened is that they removed the pages about staff mastery. It's there, trust me. You need to be hyperascended to see it. Make sure you are.

Luck, sometimes you get a R/M with sword and shield or a dervish monk or a mesmer monk... sometimes a w/e with meteror shower...

Ok, at this point I can only assume that this is what for some of you passes as humour, either that or you are either hallucinating or playing a different game completely to me

As to my been new to Guild Wars, errr nope, been playing for a while now, hence having completed all 3 campaigns and eye of the north, not to mention the dozens of titles I have (including protector of tyria).

Oooh, how about a wand mastery attribute as well, or how about a focus mastery attribute? Hey, lets go all the way and have armour mastery to.

dont worry Fenrook, people are just joking here...
dont take this thread too seriously as its about a junk build in RA(so what else is new?) actually making glad points(again, so what else is new?) which isnt all that incredible, happens all the time...
just a pure luck stream which isnt too uncommon in RA...
