D2 Druid Redux
http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Crippling_Victory[skill]Rampage as One[/skill][skill]Brutal Strike[/skill][skill]Otyugh's Cry[/skill][skill]Lightning Reflexes[/skill][skill]Comfort Animal[/skill][skill]Charm Animal[/skill] and [skill]Resurrection Signet[/skill] or Sunspear Rebirth Signet.
Reminded me vaguely of my summoner druid from Diablo 2 LoD, hence the thread title. I've only been working with it in PvE for a couple days now, does reasonably well in RA. I know the lack of a self heal is a problem, thinking about swapping Lightning Reflexes with http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Companionship to possibly remedy that.
R/D
10 Scythe Mastery
11 Beast Mastery +1 mask +3 rune
10 Expertise +2 rune
All Survivor insignias. Scythe being used is Shezel's Reaper http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Shezel%27s_Reaper
DPS so far seems fairly impressive, still doing tests with Master of Damage though.

DPS is probably decent, but is there a really outstanding reason to use a scythe instead of a hammer? You're trading KD shutdown and deep wound for a marginal increase in DPS. Anyone with a decent self-heal should be able to hold you off for a while.
Also, entering PvP with a Major + Superior rune is kind of a scary proposition.

I would advise replacing the runes with minors (Your Expertise rune really isnt doing much except for an extra second on LR. The energy reduction isnt worth the HP penelty) to increase survivability. Especially is your ognna be running around the frontlines, not a good idea to have lowish health.
If you bring Companionship would result in having 2 pet heals on the bar. I think if you brought it instead of Comfort it would suffice as your pets heal providing its used well ^_^ You woud only run into trouble if your pet dies though, so its really just a confidence thing.
I would be tempted to drop a pet attack or Otyugh's Cry for Distrupting Lunge, but then again im an interrupt freak lol
I also think it needs more Scythe skills, Rampage As One will up the DPS a lot, but I think some additional attack skills using your scythe would really make a monks job harder.

It does remind me of d2, but minus the ravens, vines, and the little spirit that follows you around :3
I have tot ry it out because I love pet builds and been meaning to find one.
I don't have eotn though, so Ill go with hammer.

Hm, yeah, without being within an optimum distance to a healer or protector, more HP I guess... maybe exchange Lightning Reflexes for [skill]Throw Dirt[/skill] too?

The Companionship thing was an attempt to find a middle ground between keeping me and my pet both healed... upon second thought I'd be better going with [skill]Heal as One[/skill] instead of RaO if I think self-heal (or lack thereof) will be a serious issue.

I would love to fit something like [skill]Victorious Sweep[/skill] on the bar, but I'm loath to drop Brutal Strike or Otyugh's Cry, and I can just imagine all the flak I would catch from PuGs (or even planned groups) for dropping my resurrect.
On a side note, I <3 my ugly-ass Shezel's scythe.

For PVE why not just use [skill]Heal as One[/skill] and [wiki]Never Rampage Alone[/wiki]?
