Healer of MM?
We only get 3 hero slots, and I need 2 slots for my synched earth ele's.
I would like to hear people's oppinions on what is more valuable, a WoHybrid monk or a MM?
A Minion wall will be a huge advantage in area's where MM's work, if done right they are even acceptable in area's where they don't.
Now I've throwing in a random MM hero now and then when I didn't have the echoing rumble build yet or didn't have 2 ele's yet and concluded that it is a good idea to run a hero specific MM build, as they do tend to mess up with my [skill=text]Order of Undeath[/skill] build, and aren't eager enough to become part of the minion wall with the [skill=text]Mystic Regeneration[/skill] build.
And while heals can be done by pretty much any1, protting is something you need done well.
I tried getting ridiculous with a protection MM and can safely say a BoTM spam and protection healing doesn't sync well, nor do animate casting times and getting Prot spirit on someone in time.
So which is the lesser of 2 evils? Missing the MM for that 70% of the game where they are great, or missing a good protting monk, plz tell me what u think.

I would use the MM because a WoH monk is easy to replace by Mehnlo or other hench.
I don't think heroes are using WoH that well (do they care if you are above or below 50%? I think they use it random)

Like you said MM is situational. It also depends a little what you're fighting against, charr, stone summit, destroyers etc then an MM can buy some time.
However a hero protection monk can replace Lina (the hench) that tends to be too aggressive and is usually the first target for melee :P. That's what i would consider, mhenlo is decent usually. Then you could put that new-monk on passive instead and pick a replacement for the other situations.

I have a N/Rt hero running a minion bomb with two restoration magic support skills. It works really nicely.
[skill]Jagged Bones[/skill][skill]Death Nova[/skill][skill]Animate Bone Minions[/skill][skill]Blood of the Master[/skill][skill]Vengeful Weapon[/skill][skill]Protective Was Kaolai[/skill][skill]Signet of Lost Souls[/skill][skill]Death Pact Signet[/skill]
12 Death Magic
9 Restoration Magic
9 Soul Reaping
Pretty deece IMO.

I would add [wiki]Pure Was Li Ming[/wiki] to that; but I have limited need for a bomber, I'd prefer a minnion wall.
I may have to settle for a Soulreaping powered Healer though, testing the echoing rumble in a area with a little bit energy deniers today caused big energy problems for the ele's.
Or it was just because we where running from fight to fight to quickly.
[EDIT]
Lol forget the SoLS healer, I figured out the energy problem, was becasue I had given the heroes a staff instead of a wand, instead of the increased recharge increasing their damage it makes them forget to use cost reducers before casting 25 energy spells.

Blood of the master is a waste on a minion bomber. Because your minion master should be taking that time to cast death nova or jagged bones, not healing them.
I understand it helps for inbetween battles, but it is a wasted slot. I take that out and add the um shambling horror summon?
