Default I need a good PvE Fire Build

I have been using the Echo Nuking build and I can't say I like it much. I need a fire build that works well throughout the game. Please give me some help. I've been through the stickies and nothing is popping out at me. I need the build for general PvE.

mind blast/immolate/rodgort's/glyph of lesser energy/fire attunement/meteor shower/glyph of sacrifice/rez chant.

pretty generic, you can drop gole for flame djinn's if you want.

unless you don't have nf, in which case you're pretty much boned out of actually being able to do decent damage.

I've got all of the campaigns so thats not really an issue. I was thinking of doing this:

[skill]Savannah Heat[/skill][skill]Searing Heat[/skill][skill]Teinai's Heat[/skill][skill]Meteor Shower[/skill][skill]Glyph of Sacrifice[/skill][skill]Rodgort's Invocation[/skill][skill]Fire Attunement[/skill][skill]Resurrection Chant[/skill]

Rodgort's Invocation is optional I might need to switch it out.

Any opinions on how that would do?

I would say just go SF/GG and its gg but i guess it doesnt in EVERY aspect of the game (ie Destroyer).

But Yea, SH is pretty awesome but it does cause scatter on enemies if your parties tank is pretty crappy (Devona....).

So id go Mind Blast + Rodgorts Invocation. Its damage is comparable if not exceeding the output of SF.

Hope that helps.

Are the rest of the skills in the Mind blast+ Rodgort's invocation build optional?
And for future reference what is GG?

I use: [skill]mind blast[/skill] [skill]meteor shower[/skill][skill]rodgort's invocation[/skill][skill]fireball[/skill][skill]liquid flame[/skill]*optional*[skill]fire attunement[/skill][skill]resurrection signet[/skill] , [skill]death pact signet[/skill],[skill]Resurrection Chant[/skill] , or Sunspear Rebirth.

Usually run 12+1+1 in Fire and 12+1 in Energy Storage. The optional can be a little bit splashed into earth magic for...[skill]ward against melee[/skill] or [skill]ward against elements[/skill], but if you have Gw:En, i like pve norn skill "Finish Him!".

I've never used Meteor Shower... wow, you get three knockdowns over 10 seconds, the enemies scatter, and you either put up with a 60 second recharge or you use up a couple more slots and have to manage Echo/Glyphs to get around that. Blech.

I used a dual-attunement build similar to tenshi_strife's for a long time, but then I discovered the beauty of Mind Blast. This is similar to Karomi's above, but without MS. And yes, I run without a res, but only because I very, very rarely have a party wipe.

[skill]Mind Blast[/skill][skill]Fireball[/skill][skill]Flame Burst[/skill][skill]Liquid Flame[/skill][skill]Smoldering Embers[/skill][skill]Rodgort's Invocation[/skill][skill]Aura of Restoration[/skill][skill]Fire Attunement[/skill]

The key is to spam Mind Blast every other cast and not use Rodgort's too much, and you shouldn't have any problems at all maintaining energy. The only time I have to watch my energy is when I'm fighting other elementalists, since the "cheating" AI almost always has more energy than me. Skills 2-5 are optional, but I found those to work the best for me.

I capped [skill]Mind Blast[/skill] and it pwns with [skill]Rodgort's Invocation[/skill]. I rarely run out of energy now, and no stupid echoing.

I'm running this:
[skill]Mind Blast[/skill][skill]Rodgort's Invocation[/skill][skill]Fireball[/skill][skill]Liquid Flame[/skill][skill]Meteor Shower[/skill][skill]Fire Attunement[/skill][skill]Glyph of Elemental Power[/skill][skill]Resurrection Signet[/skill]

I'll stop you right now by saying the mobs don't scatter unless you add more aoe, in wich case MS can actually KD them to give you 2 more sec of aoe dmg. And the Echo-MS nuker has had this problem since the begining. its an old-school build, they added more flexible skills for a reason.

About the 60 cd (and 6 sec cast time) : a build I really like is Assassin's promise + met. Shower + some other hight-cooldown skills. To explain, Assassin Promise gives you 5-17 sec to kill a foe and if you manage to do it all your skill are recharged (accept the rez sig), I sugest Glyph of sacrifice (next spell instant cast but add a 30 sec cooldown) to make up for the 6 sec cast time. Intensity and The sin-luxon skill can be kept up forever since their cd doesn't matter.

Fire magic: 12+3+1
Energy Storage: 12+3
[skill]Savannah Heat[/skill][skill]Teinai's Heat[/skill][skill]Breath of fire[/skill][skill]Liquid flame[/skill][skill]Immolate[/skill][skill]Glowing Gaze[/skill][skill]Meteor[/skill][skill]Viper's Defense[/skill]

Works really good for me!

I'm doing Fire Magic-12+1+1 and Energy Storage-12+1.
How much earth would I need for a ward to be useful and which ward would you recommend?

12 +w/e fire 10+ w/e estorage 8+w/e earth. and i would go for either melee or elements. or both. i usually run 4 Rodgorts when i play my ele, all with different utility skills (malestorm on one, wards on others, heal party on one, it works pretty well)

I know, it seems like one of them things that's... well... impossible to do (much like sucking at playing Para)... but... well... people do it anyway.
So many Firestorms, Double Dragons, total lacks of Fire Attunements, then a bunch of echo-Showers and Sup E-Storages, and all the other silly crap... Makes you cry for humanity a little.

PuGs ftw?

I just dont think i can cry for humanity any more with what I see people use. If I am crying it's cause it's so funny now a days.

I use this build:
Fire magic: 12+3+1
Energy Storage: 12+3
[skill]Mark of Rodgort[/skill][skill]Savannah Heat[/skill][skill]Liquid flame[/skill][skill]Breath of fire[/skill][skill]Immolate[/skill][skill]Glowing Gaze[/skill][skill]Meteor shower[/skill][skill]Fire Attunement[/skill]

Template: [ AGIgyMP+CyaTzI+LGrADcBA ]

Weapon is Koosun's Fire Staff,
Armor Full Radiant with SV, SFM, SES, Atunements

I got my 3 Prot Titles with this build so... (Fire Isles just add [skill]Winter[/skill])

I have a good tank that pulls well so just [skill]Mark of Rodgort[/skill],[skill]Savannah Heat[/skill],[skill]Liquid flame[/skill]... not alot left alive after that... Since he also uses a fire weapon mark is pretty effective (cept when there are anti hex casters. Then you just spam [skill]Immolate[/skill][skill]Glowing Gaze[/skill])

[skill]Breath of fire[/skill] & [skill]Meteor shower[/skill], are usefull, but not required, so play around here.

For capping I use this build
[skill]Signet of Capture[/skill][skill]Mark of Rodgort[/skill][skill]Savannah Heat[/skill][skill]Liquid flame[/skill][skill]Immolate[/skill][skill]Glowing Gaze[/skill][skill]Meteor shower[/skill][skill]Fire Attunement[/skill]

Template: [ OgBCoMzzAwXQWba/ixKwAXA ]

This build really shines when I drag a hero with:
Acolite Sauske (aka AS):
Earth magic: 12+3+1
Energy Storage: 12+3
[skill]Unsteady Ground[/skill][skill]Churning Earth[/skill][skill]Ash Blast[/skill][skill]Earth Attunement[/skill]

Weapon is Adepts Earth Staff of Enchantment
Armor Full Radiant with MV, SEM, SES, Atunements

This is more or less the chain:
Tank Pulls, [skill]Unsteady Ground[/skill](AS) - [skill]Mark of Rodgort[/skill](me), [skill]Churning Earth[/skill](AS) - [skill]Savannah Heat[/skill](me), [skill]Liquid flame[/skill]... etc..

This is more or less the chain with a Boss group:
Tank Pulls, [skill]Unsteady Ground[/skill](AS) - [skill]Mark of Rodgort[/skill](me), [skill]Churning Earth[/skill](AS) - [skill]Savannah Heat[/skill](me), [skill]Meteor shower[/skill]... etc..

Vanquished a few areas with this combo, so works rather well.

I am playing around with an earth build for destroyers since burning is useless against them...

HTH

PS. I have 97 Energy. Even if the Me's remove [skill]Fire Attunement[/skill] I still don't run out of energy...
