[skill]Broad Head Arrow[/skill] is a pretty well used Ranger skill and comes in very handy vs Caster bosses.
also, if you enjoy beast mastery: [skill]Enraged Lunge[/skill]
If you work up 100,000 Luxon/Kurzick faction you can buy [wiki]Triple Shot[/wiki], I like using that with [wiki]Nightmare Weapon[/wiki].

Before anyone can help you with builds, tell us what you like to play as. Moreover, and better still, post a build you made yourself so we have something to work with, and help you improve it.

yeah, it's a core skill.
You can get it from the boss you defeat when you save Koss from the Kournans. Get someone who has this quest in your party if you already did it.

[skill]glass arrows[/skill] is a good factions elite too
if you like barraging then it's worth while getting /Rt for [skill]splinter weapon[/skill]
if you ever get gwen or nf there are some useful skills that work with barrage in those campaigns as well
with NF i like going /P when barraging for things like [skill]"Go for the eyes!"[/skill] and [skill]anthem of envy[/skill]
in GWEN there are some skills from the new title tracks that are fun too
"I am the Strongest!"
"Dodge This!"
there is a new paragon skill from GWEN called Anthem of Disruption I want to try with barraging also

[skill]Lightning Reflexes[/skill] > [skill]Whirling Defense[/skill], shorter recharge and gives you an IAS.
Also 3 interrupts is really redundant, especially since you have Savage and Concussion Shot. Drop the Savage, Concussion is enough for casters really, you won't have the energy to use them all. And you won't really be able to interrupt with Barrage so if you want to interrupt then drop Barrage for a more useful elite.
[skill]Barrage[/skill] without [skill]Splinter Weapon[/skill] on yourself or another party member is pretty much useless.

Am I the only one who finds Barrage to be a little over-rated. I am sure I am not, for I have seen someone reckon it is one of the most over-rated elites around.

as a stand-alone ranger ya barrage is prolly overrated...
but in a group, several barrage-pet or splinter barragers are very powerful...thus the farm groups in Urgoz, SF, Tombs, etc.

I don't think so, can be combined with so many options for a ton of AoE dmg.
IMO I think it's awesome.

I would only ever really find it useful if I were doing a mission of ease. That is to say, helping a guild member on a lower mission where enemies are of much lower level. Barrage will probably kill or take a large amount of damage off adjacent enemies.
This is, of course, just my opinion.
