Empathic Removal and Signet of Removal?
I don't understand why people do not see these as viable elites.
[skill]Signet of Removal[/skill]
[skill]Empathic Removal[/skill]
Signet of Removal can see some use on a bonder bar (free, everyone in your party is enchanted, so you meet that requirement)... can also bypass daze, nasty hexes, etc.
I like Empathic Removal too. For 5 energy (and no attribute) I can remove a hex and condition from me and my ally for a 1 sec cast time!
I might be missing something here but please explain to me why these skills do not see much play.

It's probably because those two skills just aren't powerful enough when you compare them to other elites like LoD and SoD.
I guess signet of removal could see some use in a bonder, but there are better elites a bonder can take.
Empathic Removal isn't really that bad, it's just that other elites are so much better and you can do empathic removal's job with regular condition/hex removal.
Really the only place I would see these two skills used is for a non-monk profession to use them as a secondary hex removal because of the no attribute requirement.

Empathic Removal used to be used on Warriors. It got replaced by Mend Touch.
LoD is just too vital to dump.

Empathic removal would be nice if it could be self targeting, or maybe if the recharge was lower to actually be a good way of removing hexes and conditions...

Empathic removal is also used on paragons instead of expel hexes ... kinda worth it.

By being placed in prot prayers or any of the attribute lines, empathic removal would become much stronger and might actually get used.

I use (or used) Empathic Removal on Rits, Warriors and Paras.
It's not a monk skill, tbh.

It's a bit like expel hexes, sort of monk help, I kinda like empathic removal, I sometimes run it on heroes.

Neither are great for monks mostly becuase monks have more important elites that belong on their skill bars. The Signet might be okay on a watchful spirit w/mo for self condition/hex removal. ER isn't bad, but isn't good enough to justify on a monk's bar.

Hexes in PvE generally aren't as devastating, so I'd rather just take a mending touch (which removes 2 conditions!) and save the elite skill slot for damage, or something that actually helps me survive. Plus, if I really wanted to use the signet, I'd go with purifying veil probably.

Yes I was also wondering why this skills don't see more use. Signet of Removal costs NO energy and it can remove both condition and hex with only 5 sec recharge. So, it can be used both as energy menagement, and it can go trough dazed, Backfire, Shame, and so on, while meeting it's req isn't too hard since nowdays allmost everyone is enchanted, or should be, anyway, cus he/she has like, you know, hexes and conditions on :P
