Shiro's Sword.
13 req's not a problem, you should always have at least 14 Swordsmanship.

Sskai is ok.
shiro's sword is great.
Get an elemental one too for conjures (any element except earth).
You can craft a katana (beautiful skin imo) with 15^50 for 5k in kaineng, or get a collector dadao sword with the same base in Senji's corner.

[sarcasm]I LOVE it when someone tries to tell people how they should be playing the game...[/sarcasm]
Some popular skins for gold swords in Factions are as follows:
Gothic Sword
Celestial Sword
Katana
Shinobi Blade
Jade Sword
Platinum Blade
As far as stats are concerned, everything is pretty much equal. There are no "godly" weapons that make you more powerfu than other players in Guildwars, so choose the weapon mods that you want and have fun.

Kanaxai's Edge is a good green from factions too.
As for skins, I like the Jitte skin from factions...it's definately a unique skin and it's the only sword with blunt damage.
I dunno how difficult a max one is to find

We're not telling people how to play the game, we're telling them how to not suck at GW. Warriors with weapon mastery < 14 don't do damage, and therefore are doing nothing.
In regards to the weapon choice, you should find a skin you like and mod it yourself. I'm not sure how good the greens are, but Sskai's and Shiro's are quite good.
If you're going to mod it yourself, good mods to get are Vampiric and Elemental, Zealous if you use alot of energy; Defence and Fortitude.

Well, he spoke truth. Do tell, what build are you running with less than 13 Swordsmanship (or Axe or Hammer) that actually does damage to level 20-24's?

LOL, who pissed in your cheerios? Dont get your panties in a bunch...
My point was that you should not tell someone how they must play the game. And I do happen to be a pro at this game since I have been playing it since the day Prophecies came out. There is no set amount of points you should put into your weapon mastery because every situation is different, as noted by the intelligent poster above you who uses 0 points in sword mastery when Hydra farming.
Oh, and if you are going to post retarded comments and act like a 13 year old, then you really shouldnt be playing this game because you arent mature enough.

Obviously none of us need to be told that exceptions exist, i.e. a farm build using Riposte... But if you want to do damage by swinging a sword to high-level enemies and in PvP, you need high swordsmanship. Its not a matter of opinion, its not a matter of Stormlord Alex telling people how to play the game, its a matter of mathematical fact.

Wow, you people are morons! Look at what Stormlord posted. He says nothing about the math, nothing about damage from swinging your sword, instead, he just makes a blanket statement that "you should always run 14 swordsmanship"
Learn how to read, or put on your glasses or contacts. I've never said that 14 swordsmanship is pointless, I was just contradicting Stormlord's vague statement.

All the OP wanted to know was what swords he could get, and you guys turn it in to a flame fest. gg. I love how helpful some people here really arent. Who really cares what is in your swordsmanship, play the game how you want.
ON TOPIC
Jade Swords are very nice looking
Fellblades fall in Factions still
Gothic are also very nice

qft, some people are just too paranoid about authoritarian control and started being hostile to who provided the good advices and suggestions that conflicts with their own opinion, informed or not.

Now, please, seabass... drop it. I tire of this childish squabbling.

Statistically speaking, you already have the best Adrenaline-build sword in the game.
The best Energy-build sword in the game is the Kaolin Sword (Warrior's Construct ~ Sunjiang District).
And then there are the golds. They've all been suggested to death already. Pick your poison.
(I'm after the Celestial Sword in 15^50 flavour, but it is likely to take me forever).

<_< ... >_> ...
So if I give my Sin a sword to use with Way of the Master, Critical Eye and high Critical Strikes attribute.... he can't do high damage with it?
[Not that I'm seriously wanting to do such a thing; Just playing Devil's Advocate.]
