Clamor of Souls is basically rubbish. The fact that you get a CONDITIONAL PBAoE with a gimpy damage output and a pretty long recharge....it's not that impressive...

Destructive of Galive isn't very good either, 10% armour pen is not that much (dammit air eles get 25% and still only do like 20-40 more dmge), and it only lasts for 10 seconds so your not to many spells are going to be able to be used anyways.
Offering of Spirit though is an really good elite, but still no good damaging elites.

well who uses it for the armor penetration...it's the mass zap you give everything when you drop them thats the appealing part.

ehh.. Cruel was Daoshen can do that too, and its not elite so it dosen't take elite slot, costs more, but faster recharge, more base dmge, but no armour penetration, it kinda equals out, tell you the truth, I'll rather rely on that Vengful was Khanei for dmge.

it doesnt say it in that description but while you hold the ashes you have 10% armor penetration
|
Except that you can only hold them for 10 seconds, you lose your enchantments and weapon bonuses, and 10% AP is such a small amount as to not matter.

Caretaker's charge anyone? It's usually the elite I bring when I'm running a Channelling PvP build, usually paired with Mighty Was Vorizun.

For Channeling Elites I like [wiki]Offering of Spirit[/wiki] and [wiki]Grasping was Kuurong[/wiki].
As for heroes though I usually give my Channeling heroes [wiki]Expel Hexes[/wiki] if I'm going into a hex heavy area, they're great with it.
Channeling elites are a little lacking on the whole.

I think that rits would be much much more in demand and useful if the darn spirits actually followed the caster lol (with out having to bring a spell)

Then they'd just be a Necromancer except with spirits. And besides, they're called binding rituals. That'd be kind of an oxymoron if the bound spirits you summon follow you, wouldn't it?

This pretty much sums it up, although [skill]weapon of remedy[/skill] and [skill]spirit light weapon[/skill] can also be worth bringing.

lol yea, but what's funny is if some PUGS see you without a elite spell they'll kick you out, so most of the time I'm forced to take a crappy elite Channeling spell or the farley Useful Vengeful was Khanei (even though it's Restoration).

You have splinter weapon and ancestors rage, you don't care that your elites suck. Splinter weapon is stupid good. Just take offering of spirit for energy (you don't actually need any spirits, just eat the life sac.)

Only if you didn't need a huge investment in spawning, this would be my elite of choice.

It's missing two symbols, one on either side of the variable numbers.
