The Rampaging Scythe-Pet Hybrid
Current Rating: To be added...

Template Code: To be coming
Optional Skills:
Generally you would go with two of these: [skill]Troll Unguent[/skill][skill]Whirling Defense[/skill][skill]Resurrection Signet[/skill]
Other Things you Should Consider: [skill]Zealous Renewal[/skill][skill]Reap Impurities[/skill] <--- Radiant Scythe
Expertise: 10 [8 + 1 + 1]
Beastmastery: 11 [9 + 2]
Scythe Mastery: 11
Wilderness Survival: 8
Equipment:
Zealous Scythe of Fortitude
+5 energy
Zealous
+30 Hp
([wiki]Mhedi's Vow[/wiki])
Mask of Minor Expertise
A Rune of Major Beastmastery
A Rune of Major Vigor
(x2) Rune of Attunement
(x5) Radiant Insignia
Usage:
Quite Simple, Use [wiki]Apply Poison[/wiki] before the battle. Once ready, Use [wiki]Rampage As One[/wiki]. Spam your two scythe attacks for Energy management. With your scythe, two attunement runes, and 5 radiant insignias you should have about 42 energy.
Counters:
- Lack of Condition Removal
- Energy Management may become a problem after a long battle.
- Possible Lack of a Rez
Advantages:
[wiki]Rampage As One[/wiki] will be kept up at all times during battle allowing a constant speed buff as well as an IAS without the use of a Stance. Your attacks (along with a zealous scythe) should be able to manage energy fairly well, allowing the re-application of [wiki]Apply Poison[/wiki] and Rampage as One when it is needed. It also allows for use of a pet, the main purpose. (trying to synergize use of a pet without a full beast build)
Main Discussion:
To be added...
This build was mostly made to be fun. I mean, what's better than a scary-fast ranger with a scythe?! I also wanted to create something that allows for a pet to be used. Any comments/Critiziscm is greatly appreciated.. Even if I argue
At the very least, please rate the build on a scale of 1 - 5. 1 being horrible, and 5 being Sweet! (b'.')b
I haven't tried out this build yet.. So it is likely it doesn't work as well as it sounds... lol...

Use [skill]Never Rampage Alone[/skill] for your IAS and speed boost, save your elite for [skill]Ferocious Strike[/skill] for energy management, then drop LA and ZS for [skill]Radiant Scythe[/skill][skill]Eremite's Attack[/skill]
You really want a +15% damage boost on Scythes. Get a Vamp, 15^50 and Fortitude Scythe, Terror Scythe is ideal.

Well, Never rampage alone doesn't give a Speed buff, and is not as fast as Rampage as one. I still don't realize why you would need Ferocious strike when you don't have Rampage as one. It's really a bunch of changes that won't really do anything different except make the build less fun (no speed buff and slower attack speed). You can always take radiant scythe as an optional slot..
So to recap, there's really no point in making the changes, but what it would do;
- Lose Speed Buff and Slow attack speed minimally
- Give your Pet a damage Skill
- Increase E-Management Slightly
- Allow for more spam-able scythe attacks (but lower the overall damage buff given)
I don't think I missed anything.
This build was meant for fun, and making these changes would keep it the same (IMO), but spoil a lot of the fun.. not worth it to me..
If you could expand upon your concepts, it would be helpful..
Also remember to rate!

I think it would be advantageous to add an enchantment if you are using Lyssa's Assualt, due to the energy gain. (i know you've added Zealous Renewal under the optionals, but if you are saying that you should definately take Lyssa's then I guess you should definately take an enchantment too.)
I can see this working quite well in PvP, combating the slow attack speed of the scythe with RaO and the extra damage from your pet.

Oh, I hadn't realized that You needed an enchantment for the energy gain (X_X). Anyways, I think your best bet is:

There's no point in a speed buff for PvE. Mobs never kite in Normal Mode, and this build would die instantly in Hard Mode. So you don't need a speed buff.
The ability to spam [skill]Mystic Sweep[/skill][skill]Eremite's Attack[/skill] as 3/4 attacks on recharge increases your DPS much more than that 8% less attack speed buff lowers it.
Oh and get 12 Scythe Mastery. Otherwise your Scythe damage will suffer a lot. Drop expertise to 8+1, use 10+2 BM and 12 Scythe Mastery.
And WHY do you need 5x radiant and 2x attunement? That's just a pure waste... take Ferocious Strike and NRA for better e-management and get survivor insignia, you'll be needing health if you're running around at 70 AL on the frontlines. Otherwise you'll get slaughtered when you get trained by a load of level 28 melee mobs.

You have a good point.. I really hate to say it but you're probably right, which sort of negates the point of this build. Not point in doing it if I can't go fast .. Anyways, I'll still try it ober the weekend and see if it's still a /uber fail. I'm thinking great dwarven armor would work better than Mental block.
Oddly, It's sort of a chain reaction thing when you think about it. To begin, you need lots of energy to keep this build up, but If you take ferocious strike you won't that much E-magament, and then you change the scythe attacks.. Pretty soon all the skills in the build are completely different.. Meh, I'll see how it goes..
