Default [HM] Fahranur the first city mo 55 farm

Ok I have been farming here for a while now.. You can get some nice skinned weapons here such as Ancient Shields, Sephis Axes, Dead Swords, Dead Bows and there is 2 bosses along the way (Warrior + Dervish) their greens suck but you have a chance for elite tomes and normal tomes and you can pretty much guarantee a gold on every run although I've had a couple of runs with no golds

Ok heres the skills...

Mo/Any

Divine Favor: 9+3
Healing Prayers: 6+3
Smiting Prayers: 12+1+3
Protection Prayers: 7+3

[skill]protective spirit[/skill][skill]shielding hands[/skill][skill]healing breeze[/skill][skill]spear of light[/skill][skill]shield of judgment[/skill][skill]blessed signet[/skill][skill]blessed aura[/skill][skill]Balthazar's spirit[/skill]

now you can use this skill set or for greater healing over healing breeze you can roll as a Mo/D with Mystic Regen and just put all your healing attributes into Earth Prayers or to speed up the run past the skales at the beginning (aren't worth anything really) go as Mo/A with dash or Mo/W with sprint but what I use works fine.

Weapons:
Totem Axe and a -50 Cesta

Usage:

Straight forward 55 Monk build just cast Balthazar's Spirit and Blessed Aura at the start use signet of devotion whenever you need a bit of an energy boost. Prot spirit MUST be on at all times. SoJ is the main dmg source and Spear of Light is just a bit of an extra dmg skill.

Map of the Run:



A) Scales
B) Scales
C) Scales
D) Scales
E) 3 Groups of Undead patrol here (you can take them all at once)
F) 2 Groups of Undead
G) 1 Group of Undead
H) 1 Group of Undead
I) 1 Group of Undead
J) 1 Group of Undead
K) Usually 2 Restless Deads and the Warrior Boss
L) 1 Group of Relentless Corpses (Drop like flies)
M) 1 Group of Undead
N) Starts as 1 Group of Undead but another group patrols over so be careful
O) 1 Group of Relentless Corpses
P) 3 Water Djinns and the dervish boss (you can take the 3 water djinns seperate or with the boss)

run usually takes about 10-20 mins depends on what you do and how fast you kill them drops are pretty decent and in case you didn't know they drop fast because undead take double dmg to holy dmg. Be careful for the big bell things that fall down and just run this like any normal 55 monk build.... really straight forward. Fairly profitable because of the tomes and stuff you can get from bosses and some of the rare skins that drop here.

nothing too hard really to look out for just be sure to keep healing breeze up when you have disease or bleeding on you and shielding hands whenever you can or need to.

I to have been farming here since HM came out. I use the gernic monk mustic regen 55/105 build. I get about 1-3k a run and most of the time 3-4 golds.

I/m pretty sure there have at least been 2 guides on this farm for 55hp monks...

Nevertheless nice idea but you won't be able to kill everything with that..

i only wasn't able to kill harpy healers with this but you can still vanquish the area with this and some "help from above"

yeah Marth I really just follow that path that i have up in my first post never really go near the harpies but yeah if you want to take on harpies replace spear of light with scourge healing and follow the path from 'H' until you reach the harpies

On your map you missed the last group..... But I'll let you guys figure out where they are.

Also this is an old spot... and drops have decreased significantly

You can still get Dead Swords... but their so damn hard to sell. No one really wants them anymore.

I love this farm 2 full runs and i got 6 golds which included a +30health sword grip, 2 dead swords, 2gold req 9 sheilds, and some daggers with req 13 but
it had a 15^50 inscription and 20% longer enchants, not to mention about 5k in merched goods.

I like using Mo/D to with 105hp using a staff for energy and recharge times. 55 is useless now with SoA and SH.

Mystic Regeneration
Smite Hex
Blessed Aura
Balthazar's Spirit

Smite Hex does major damage when you are able to use it, and doesnt cause enemies to flee like SoW does. But if u in area without hexes, use SoW for more damage. But usually when dealing with Undead, you get hex'd alot.

I tried this run yesterday, only went about half way as i had to go out but in that time i got myself a Gold Ancient Shield, a Necro tome and a few purpls/blues etc, made about 2k once id salvaged and sold off all the bumf.

My only problem is with the undead casters, they appear to have infinite energy. They kept spamming me with Deathly Swarm. Very rarely did they use their wands, making SoJ ineffective so i eventually just ran away from them.

Still a decent spot though

I'm pretty sure this guy is referring to the 20-25 Plants in the SW corner of the map. Grab the hunt right next to them at the rez shring for free Sunspear points...

Or he's refering to the last group of 3 undead that are missed on the OP's map. They are in the southern/center portion of the map past the "Bell traps".

You can farm everything that doesn't heal with this build, which is ~99% of the map (handful of skree and the harpy boss with the griffon are the only ones that heal):

I think the attribs are like this:
12+3+1 Smite
8+3 Prot
+3 Healing (just for low hp rune)
8+3 Divine (switch to +1 divine Headpiece for 30% Blessed Aura)
8 Earth (no weakness here so you don't need 9 like the Corsair Farm)

Don't forget to grab all the hunts if you need Sunspear points. The undead hunt is past the first group to the left so you'll need to run past the first group and get the hunt before killing (assuming you want the max bonus for the NW warrior boss). The scale hunt is right outside the zone into the First City, and the plant hunt is just before you get to that big group in the SW corner. There is a bug hunt too I think near the Blacktide portal (not 100% sure).

Some notable drops I've had so far:
Sephis Axe (undead)
Dead Bow (chest, undead)
Dead Sword (undead)
Elite Tomes (bosses, chests)
Non Elite Tomes (everything)
Fiery Blade Axe (scale)
Spiked Club (Iboga or Jacarnda can't remember)
The bugs drop good stuff too...

This build can easily clear all the undead, bosses, and skales
Monk/ Necro
12 Curses
5+3 healing
14 something in prot
rest in divine favor

Protective spirit
Shield of Absorbtion
Shielding Hands
Spiteful Spirit
Essence Bond
Mending
Balthazar Spirit
Blessed aura

Always kill restless dead first and only have essence bond up when your fighting bosses for energy management, when fighting water djinn boss you can only ss the boss. May take a bit longer but it can easily clear everything. Remember to not attack with weapon because you will get poisoned.

Just did another run got a black dye from a scale, req 11 dead sword, and 2 gold req 9 scythes from the water djinns.
