Command or Motivation, help me decide!
Ok, so I beat the PvE campaign w/ my Dervish, and I thought a nice treat would be to get the +5 energy, double adrenaline spear for my next character, a Paragon. Anyway, he's about 15 now, (just mowing through all the missions in Istan), and the only max armor shield I've gotten was a motivation one.
So far, I'm having a blast w/ him, but there just aren't very many skills to use. Right now, I'm saving gold like mad, and am hoping some good skills open up at the Sunspear command post.
Anyway, what do you folks suggest - command or motivation?
As a side note, I have an ebon max dmg spear and was considering capping the Dervish elite that makes all earth damage attacks cause blindness - anyone try that combo?
Thanks again.

Personal experience for me, in 8-player-group settings, a paragon should always use shout-and-chant heavy build, 9-10 spear mastery with 0-1 spear skill(Disrupting throw) for support damage, adrenaline and echo trigger.
To me, command is for melee line and damage reduction and motivation is for caster line or energy mangement; depending on your group setting, you can try either in a particular group setting.

I dislike Command. Stand Your Ground and Go for the Eyes are the only good skills from Command, pretty much all others are way below average.
Since armor no longer stacks, SYG is pointless since your warrior will probably have Watch Yourselves. Go for the Eyes is strong even with no investment in Command.
With Motivation, I have a 480 heal that costs 4 energy with a 20 second recharge with [skill]Ballad of Restoration[/skill], and can reduce the cost of shouts with [skill]Energizing Chorus[/skill], which helps power "There's Nothing to Fear", and also helps my Paragon hero maintain his energy.
So in my opinion, Motivation > Command
Edit: First thing you should do, get "There's Nothing to Fear" from the hero skill trainer in Kamadan. Possibly the best skill in the game.

I already got the sunspear skill - it is quite good. I'm trying to really up my sunspear rank to make it even better.
I'm currently a monk secondary, but haven't even touched it.
I've been reading up on some build suggestions, and I just need to progress through the story to unlock some more skills and then cap some elites.

I usually prefer Command. Go for the Eyes is a wonderful skill for energy and added damage, plus triggering things like Aggressive Refrain.
I do not recommend a +5 energy spear. You do not need it that much. Get a 15^50, spears do wonderful dps without any skills.
As you can see I asked in another thread for useful Motivation builds.
Having Leadership shields would have made giving heroes equipment so much easier... :>
About Ebon Dust Aura, it works better on a Dervish (Scythe!) or a Ranger with Volley. Single target blinding is cumbersome. But it works.
