Shock skill
I run a sword conjure build like this for arena:
healing sig
sever artery
gash
dragon slash
FGJ
conjure lightning
shield bash
ressurect sig
and i thouhgt of using shock skill instead of shield bash or other knockdown but i always see axe warriors using shock, is it okay for swords?

[skill]Shock[/skill] has nothing to due with any war weapon.
Axe wars are most often used in PvP since they can deal better spike damage, but a sword war can use shock just as effectively.

Dragon Slash isnt good in PvP, if its blocked the build becomes useless... Your getting exhaustion that you cant handle cus ur using both conjure and shock... 15e + exhaustion isnt good. And then your using sheild bash which uses another 5energy... So many energy skills + exhaustion obviously isnt great. IMHO Drop conjure, drop Sheild Bash and put in frenzy + rush... also If I were you... I'd use an axe... cus generally.. it is better in pvp.

bring bulls strike. a hugely awesomeness part of shock is the ability to chain it with bulls strike which allows you to beat a monk's face in for 6 seconds without them kiting or casting. plus bulls strike is amazing. so is shock.

That doesn't make Dragon Slash magically good in PvP, though.

1. Any build works in RA, Ive seen Wars with Fire Storm
2. If you have no intention to switch to axes, dont intend on playing PvP.
3. 20 energy isnt much considering your using exhaustion spells and 10e conjures.
4. Learn to count. 2 energy skills, 10e +5e = 15e.... 15e/20e = 75%... 75%e wastage before you deal damage, real smart.
p.s. Shock beats Shield Bash, Live with it.

Shield Bash and Shock are fundamentally different, why are we comparing them?
If you're gonna use a Sword in PvP, go with something like this..
[card]Crippling Slash[/card][card]Gash[/card][card]Sun and Moon Slash[/card][card]Bull's Strike[/card][card]Conjure Frost[/card]
If you don't have Nightfall.. hm.. maybe something like this?
[card]Sever Artery[/card][card]Gash[/card][card]Final Thrust[/card][card]Bull's Charge[/card]
Or some DSlash build.. but I don't know about that..

wars with fire storm? i see where you get ur ideas
swords are my choice of weapon and i dont think anet made axes to be used especially for pvp, swords can be just as good
by the time my conjure skill needs to be recharged my exhaustion will be gone, to recover from exhaust, i need to wait 10x3=30sec, 1 energy per 3 sec

Well yeah Exhaustion should be gone by then.. Durr, but 30 seconds is a long time.
Fire Storm, I see you understand the definition of sarcasm. Incase you dont... Have fun using the Wikitionary! http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/sarcasm
If the link doesnt work, or you cba to click :
Noun
Singular
sarcasm
Plural
sarcasms
sarcasm (plural sarcasms)
(uncountable) A form of humor that is marked by mocking with irony, sometimes conveyed in speech with vocal over-emphasis.
(countable) An act of sarcasm.
Axes/ Swords wernt made for anything, its just common knowledge that axes > squishys - PvP and that Swords > PvE.

What the hell was your point of that first comment.... it makes no sense and sounds like a 10 year olds putdown.
In a game that has been around for over 2 years its pretty certain that people will ahve worked out what is best, esecially in PvP, Axes do come out on top.
So your only going to use shock once every 60 seconds?

yes i am, i need a knockdown against warriors and sins just once
in ab i use bullstrike
and yes u believe that about axes, one person says sumthing, everyone else follows that opinion other wise u are a noob under peer pressure, swords have their advantages in pvp
did you notice how axe warriors tend to heal rarely? because they are rushing to kill you with their dps, sword warriors on the other hand tend to heal more often because they are more balanced

Heal rarely? What You never heard of Healing Signet? Wars are for DPS not healing, not tanking. BELEIVE IT!
"PEER PRESSURE" ROFL... What are you imagining a 100 virtual faces all staring at you? Sword wars are NOT more ballanced, I know this is off-topic but in PvE (If youv ever done that) dragon slash build dont use heals... They use SY and WY... Monks heal. A war has as many heals wether he uses an axe, sword or hammer... all heals lie in the tactics/ strength attribute anyway. Your just being ignorant and want to proove a point which is already deep down and lost in the void. Give up.
btw, fyi....
noob (plural noobs)
(Internet slang, pejorative) A newb or newbie; refers to the idea that someone is new to a game, concept, or idea; implying a lack of experience.
Noobs are annoying, they never know the forum rules.
You just got pwned, noob.
I’ll teach you noobs how to play.
I kill all you noobs in seconds!
You suck, you son of a noob

they arent pure dmg class either, a surviving warrior can save the team and other players. warriors arent to jump in an die, they have surviving capabilities
on the other hand, get the fck out of here please, i asked a question whether i should use shock instead of shield bash and ur comming here with ur bullshit about ur axes and firestorm? idiot
u want dps? play an ele
and stop going to wikipedia, dictionary.com or urbandictionary and searching up terms like everyone else does, this makes u a total retard
+ur pretending to be sarcastic on the fire storm part? being sarcastic means using some sort of trigger that makes it sarcasm, not saying this straight:
1. Any build works in RA, Ive seen Wars with Fire Storm
u were most serious, stop pretending, newb
all ur posts are incorrect just as u are about ur gender ingame
