Air is the wrong place to look for AOE. Remember, 3 almost dead enemies will still fight back. 2 at 3/4 health and 1 dead one will fight back 2/3rds as much.

Well you'd need at least 4 people using LHammer or LOrb to kill someone in one spike. And being 2 seconds cast time, it's not really a reliable spike.

Air magic is more for Single person spiky damage and blind. I guess that's why Invoke Lightning is elite.

Thunderclap looks like fun though. :P

Use it with Shock Arrow (when you get Factions) or Lightning Javelin (an otherwise, close to worthless skill) with it to screw up pivotal enemies.

The only drawback is the loss of energy. :/ but there are ways around that.

Yea... The Blinding flash can screw up almost any warrior though. I like ot use it on mele creatures, and then just spike em to death. I also use gust, before I cast lightning orb.

Gust knocks down for 2 secs. Lightning orb 2 sec cast. It deal a good amount of dmg.

I thought that gust knocked down for two seconds... Oh well, then I did mean Gale. But isn't Gale a touch skill?

Ok, never mind then. But if I use Gust, I need a water hex spell though. So can't I just put a water spell that hexes, and i can just put no points into water for it tow work right?

If you want to try a water-air hexer, then try it. Some good skills are:
[skill]Lightning Touch[/skill]
[skill]Gust[/skill]
[skill]Arc Lightning[/skill](oh wait, do you have factions?)
[skill]Chilling Winds[/skill]
[skill]Blurred Vision[/skill]
[skill]Freezing Gust[/skill]

If you are running pure Air, however, then some good skills include:
[skill]Lightning Orb[/skill] Bread and butter of all Air builds.
[skill]Lightning Strike[/skill] Spammable spell.
[skill]Lightning Javelin[/skill] Interrupt the attackers.
[skill]Enervating Charge[/skill] Weakness is good.
[skill]Chain Lightning[/skill] Some good AoE.
[skill]Blinding Flash[/skill]
[skill]Blinding Surge[/skill]
[skill]Gale[/skill] KDs are always useful. Watch the exhaustion.
[skill]Invoke Lightning[/skill] Pretty good AoE.
[skill]Air Attunement[/skill] A must for all Air builds.

People seem to think that Air is only good for blind. It's actually good for single-target damage, too. Don't think that you can do the same things with Air as you can for Fire. Air CANNOT do a lot of AoE. It can mostly do only spikes and stuff.
