Be honest..How bad is my build?
I've been using this build for about a month now, and was wondering what other people thought of it. I use it for PvE and Pvp (though I swap out my sunspear skill). So, without further adoo..
1.Avatar of Balthazar:good def, and the added speed is a plus
2.Eternal Aura:does good aoe dmg, and keeps my avatar up and running 24/7
3.Aura of Thorns:Good aoe dmg, cause bleeding+cripples
4.Vital Boon:great for spike health rege, and i use as a "disposable enchantment"
5.Chilling Victory:great for spike dmg+aoe
6.Pious Assault:great for throwing away enchants, and the added dmg is a welcomed bonus
7.Meditation:a real life saver, it not only heals 1/4 of my health, but gives me a much need +7 energy, and recharges fairly quickly
8.Signet of Pious Light:i combine this with Vital Boon, and it restores almost all of my hp.
oh, and before i forget, here's my skills:
12 scythe mastery/10 earth prayers/13 mysticism
anyway, what can i do to improve it?

I'd scrap Pious Assault and Aura of Thorns for [skill]Zealous renewal[/skill] and [skill]victorious sweep[/skill]. I'm not really fond of Chilling Victory's 10 Energy cost, but I suppose it's ok if you have a Zealous Scythe and you don't spam too much. I'd rather take an artificial IAS like [skill]mystic sweep[/skill] or [skill]eremite's attack[/skill], though.

Good skill if used with a not-so-shit avatar.

Good aoe damage? Is that a joke? Drop this skill.

Tbh there aren't so many dervish self-rending skills i'd considered good enough to be on my bar for reasons other than stripping vital boon. I guess maybe if i was using pious fury it would work ok.. such as in Costume Brawling bar.

Correct.

Crap skill, as i said there aren't many good self-rending skills. This is one of those bad ones.

I haven't used this skill much.. but i'm pretty sure you only get the heal if an enchantment ISN'T removed? If so.. obviously no use using it on a bar with enchants. If you want self-rending e-management, PvE wise, Eremites Zeal is the way to go.

Hopeless skill unless being used with pious renewal in those support healing builds. Vital boon + sig of pious light combo sucks.
Also, it's amazing how you can have so many earth skills but not mystic regen. Buy it. If you can't get to realm of torment (you said you've been using this build a month, NF takes nowhere near that long) then unlock in PvP.

You need to drop the idea that using 3/4 of your bar for self defence is good. Dervs exist to do damage.

Looks like you've got a little to much defense there...unless you're going for the survival title its overkill and just a build with no real focus. Avatar of Balthazar isn't really that great you could use a skill like conviction or great dwarf armor both of which add +24 to armor. If you really want a lot of healing try using Avatar of Dwayna which heals for x amount of life every time you use a skill (not to mention the added bonus of hex removal). I notice you have both Signet of Pious Light and Pious Assault there is no need for two enchantment stripping skills. If you're using Aura of Thorns you could also consider bringing along Armor of Sanctity which work well together.
Anyway if you do decide to try Avatar of Dwayna go with quick attack skills like Mystic Sweep and Eremite's Attack. Not only will you be attacking quickly but you will be healing yourself at the same time...without having to waste skill slots on skills like Pious Assault or Signet of Pious Light.

Avatar of dwayna + vic. sweep is more than enough for defense. definitely remove pious assault as its not doing you any favours.
if you still want to keep your defense skill bar then get avatar of lyssa at least - it will do so much damage
