I'm a noob to farming (and GW guru). I'm on my 4th day of farming with a "stock" 55 build straight from pvx:

The first two days of farming, I was hitting up the trolls outside droks and Hulking Stones HM outside Sanctum. I was getting great drops...Golds, Black Dyes, it was great. Then loot scaling kicked in and I'm getting nothing but white junk and tusks. I haven't had a single gold item in 9 hours of farming...

So I decided to try a new area with Gates of Kyrta or Bergen Hot Spring fighting Undead. But this 55 monk build just isn't working with all the poison and ME spells.

Can anyone recommend a good build for the Undead? If this build is the correct build to use and I just suck, please give me some tips on fighting the Undead in these areas. Equipment tips are appreciated as well. Thanks! GW Guru rocks.

Prot Spirit, Shield of Absorption, Shielding Hands, Mystic Regneration (Dervish), Shield of Judgement, Blessed Aura, Balthazar's Spirit, Purge Conditions (or Zealot's Fire)

the bar above me would work, but i'd swap the last slot for smite condition

Thanks for the tip. Currently I only own Prophecies, so the Dervish build is out.

I have used it for ages... Currently I do use a Mo/D one though.

Not sure what I'm missing...the Undead messmers take me out in a few seconds on the Gates mission (HM) with this build:
Prot Spirit, Healing Breeze, SoJ, Shielding Hands, Blessed Aura, blessed signet, balthazars spirit, Essence Bond

Go Mo/W for Bonetti's Defence from the arrows it is still a solid build instead of Mystic Regen.It is not on the PvXWiki but look around in the stickies as it is here.

Basically blocking the damage from SoJ?

spec healing prayers a bit higher imo, you should be doing fine then

Somewhat but not blocking the damage from SoJ just blocking it from the arrows here is itMo/W 55You can switch out Balthazar's Aura for something else if you want.
