Scythes?
Can anyone recommend any good scythes? I heard god scythes were good, but are there any scythes better than god scythes? I have about 45k to spend on a Scythe, and I'm completely new to the dervish so I know nothing about them. I do not want to buy something and it suck compared to scythes I don't even know about.
- btw, Anyone have one for sale that is good?

Sundering or vamp scythes are great. And ebon scythes are needed for EDA builds, and icy for GG builds.
+30 health is the best other mob you could have.
15^50 is best inherent, as always.

Actually 15^50 is not the best inscription mod for a dervish. You gimp yourself off the jump. 15% while enchanted is the best since, as a dervish, you should always always always be enchanted if you are in combat. Sundering or vamp aren't as good as zealous for general use. Scythe skills tack on plenty of extra damage without the AP or the vamp mods and you want all the energy you can get. +30 is ok but I'd rather have 20% longer enchants unless you run a pump and dump build where you are consistently stripping off enchants, in which case go with +30. With the bank you have to spend on a scythe you can basically build your own and come out better than the god scythes. Unless you just have to have some uber rare skin you can customize the look adn the mods to suit you. Mods by themselves are fairly reasonable to purchase. Also you don't need an ebon scythe for an EDA build , but it helps if you don't want to take up an enchant slot with staggering force. Just make sure to use 15% while enchanted, the inscription is called Guided by Fate. Other than that zealous is probably your best general purpose snathe mod and can be used with all builds.

Yup, Im with str0b0...I defintly prefer the 20% enchant mod, and 15^50/15enchated mod is pretty much the same for the dervish for the reasons stated above. I also prefer the zealous mod, it just seems to snag up extra energy, which sometimes is well needed...

Zealous Scythe of Enchanting for general use.
And I'd have Sundering/Vampiric Scythe of Fortitude to swap for popular PvE Melandru builds or just more damage.

Agree wholeheartedly with that. I got a Drokar's Reaper a while back and never regretted it.
I also own a Vampiric Scythe, an Ebon Scythe, and an Icy Scythe.

i prefer +15% dmg while enchted (since a derv is almost always enchted), and then to go with that a +20% longer enchts
vamp is my other fav, but i also have fire, ice, earth, air, sunder (i think thats all, maybe 1 or 2 more that im missing)
again it all depends on the build too but the bold mods are the ones i use the most

id personally go with droknar's reaper. the zealous really does work wonders if you can clump your enemies right

Not really - droks keys sell for about 10k.
But yeah, I'd prefer a gold with a nice skin

Easiest max scythe to get that is particularly good is definitely Droknar's Reaper.
If you feel like it, there are also some decent sundering or vampiric ones... from what I read vamp is generally preferable. Ebon scythes are useful for an EDA build if you want one.
And for the record, god scythes range from the pretty good (Dwayna's Grace) to the truly terrible (Balthazar's Fury, not unlike the avatar actually).

You can put a staff of enchanting on weapon swap for high duration enchantments, so you don't take a health penalty from not using a fortitude mod on your primary weapon.
Zealous is often unnecessary in Lyssa and Vow of Strength builds.

A high energy cap is not energy management
zealous is to dervish as attunement is to elementalist

Mysticism is enough emgt for a Lyssa build. Consider that Lyssa makes you kill things a lot faster, so it's unlikely that you'll actually burn through all 50+ nrg before the fight is over.
Vow of Strength builds don't require any emgt to run, because they don't use attack skills. It's pretty easy to keep up with 15~20e expenditure every 20+ seconds; zealous is a total waste of a mod there.

Agreed with Burst.
Zealous mod is basically the best for dervishes, but for builds with AoL Vampiric/Sundering would be a better choice. And for VoStr builds Mysticism is enough if you hit, let's say, 9 breakpoint in this attribute - with all those enchantments flying around you should not run out of energy. At least if you wait till you enchantments end, so that you get the energy from it (Remember, if you e.g. cast Mystic Reg while already under Mystic Reg = no energy from Mysticism!)
