Default Making Decapitate usable

Ok, I know some people like Decapitate but I have never found it to be usable, even in PvE.
I came up with this idea a little while ago and, of the builds I've tested, its worked quite well in easy going PvE. The drawback of Decapitate is that it drains all adrenaline and energy, with a warriors low energy regen using energy skills is out unless they have a low cost and last a long time. You could use some low cost adrenaline skills, but they do really need to be very low cost to work well.
So I thought to myself, "What skills don't use energy or adrenaline?" and then it came to me, Signets! Healing Signet and Resurrection Signet are great to use. Now to find a low cost adrenal attack to go on my bar with decapitate and my signets, hang on, wait a second, low cost adrenaline, works with signets... Symbolic Strike. Add in an IAS, something with a nice long duration , Drunken Master is perfect as it last 60+ seconds, you could use Flail instead but I think it would be a little disjointed.

Ok so far we've got:

Decapitate
Symbolic Strike
Drunken Master
Healing Signet
(Another Signet)
(Another Signet)
(Another Signet)
Resurrection Signet

With 5 signets Symbolic strike hits for +50 damage, for 4 adrenaline this is great.

From here on you can add in your own signets and have fun, a lot of the signets are just fillers but some work well, here are some combos I have come up with:

W/A
Decapitate
Symbolic Strike
Drunken Master
Healing Signet
Signet of Malice
Sadist's Signet
Signet of Toxic Shock
Resurrection Signet

Deadly arts needs to be quite high for this to work, Signet of Toxic Shock works really well in this build, Symbolic Strike -> Decapitate -> Signet of Toxic Shock, works really well. Signets of Malice is an ok condition removal and Sadists signet works as a conditional heal. This build really needs a ranger henchman with Poison Arrow/Apply Poison and some more conditions to work properly.

W/Mo
Decapitate
Symbolic Strike
Drunken Master
Healing Signet
Bane Signet
Signet of Rage
Purge Signet
Resurrection Signet

I haven't tested this but it looks ok. Bane Signet for some damage and a handy knockdown, Purge Signet as a great hex/condition remover. Signet of Rage is the weak link here but could do some damage with high enough Smiting.

W/Me
Decapitate
Symbolic Strike
Drunken Master
Healing Signet
Leech Signet
Signet of Distraction
Signet of Disenchantment
Resurrection Signet

Again I haven't tested this one yet but with two interrupts and a enchantment stripper it could work well. This one is probably only useful in hard areas where enchantments and longer casting spells are a problem.

W/R
Decapitate
Symbolic Strike
Drunken Master
Healing Signet
Poison Tip Signet
Antidote Signet
Sunspear Rebirth Signet
Resurrection Signet

Antidote Signet as a nice condition removal and PTS to add some nice poison damage. Lacks another useful signet so I just added another rez.

W/D
Decapitate
Symbolic Strike
Drunken Master
Healing Signet
Signet of Mystic Speed
Signet of Pious Restraint
Sunspear Rebirth Signet
Resurrection Signet

With a speed boost and a Snare this is very capable build, again the lack of another signet means I just added in a another rez

W/P
Decapitate
Symbolic Strike
Drunken Master
Healing Signet
Remedy Signet
Signet of Aggression
Signet of Return
Resurrection Signet

Make sure you have someone with a shout in your party so Signet of Aggression works. This build has a quick rez (Resurrection Signet) for close call situation and a reusable rez (Signet of Return) for after battle rezzing. Signet of Remedy for condition removal.

If anyone is really concerned about the attributes I will try and post them up when I can, but you should just work them out for yourself for your weapons/equipment and your play style.
All these builds are for fun and are just a way I found to use Decapitate. I have only tested the W/A build so far so I'm not sure on some of the builds. If you have any suggestions for any these builds or of builds of your own feel free to post.

Have fun.

[skill]zealous renewal[/skill] is a good idea if going W/D to counter the energy loss too.

Then running skills that hit multiple targets like [skill]cyclone axe[/skill] along with a zealous axe makes for a fun W/D.

Looks interesting and very creative use of 2 skills that don't see much use, Decapitate and Symbolic Strike.

Good Work!

interesting idea, but just a question:
what does this warrior supposed to do beside use Decapitate?
yes Decapitate+strong Symbolic Strike makes a half decent spike, but what are all those signets for? what role is your warrior supposed to accomplish?

that's the problem with your idea, forcing the use of a problematic elite by circling around the problem isnt really the way to go... warriors can be a lot more effective than what your signet warrior will ever do...

I just run it in RA, on a Shock Warrior bar. Just switch around Exec Strike and Decapitate.

Fun thing is, once you have someone dead, as soon as he/she gets ressed, you can kill him in 3-4 hits with the spike

Yeah, I know they aren't the best uber-leet builds, but they are just ideas on how to use it in PvE, when I played the W/A build I had great fun.

The whole point of these builds is to make it so you don't have to weapon swap or use Zealous Renewal you can just play it as it is.

your making subpar builds just to try and find a use for a subpar elite. not a good idea.

Actually its a great idea. Nothing wrong with creativity. Ok it may have less DPS than the cookie-cutter builds but nothing is more fun than making your own unique builds that work more or less

I know, usually builds like this don't work well but I was surprised when I used the W/A build it worked pretty well and was really fun.
