High End PvE Areas
Greetings.
I play Guild Wars for sometime now however I am relatively new to PvE high-end areas.
Though I have recently join a great PvE guild, League of Friends,due to my job it's been difficult to join in some expeditions to elite areas like Fow and UW.
To make things short, I would like to Vanquish UW and FOW and since i use my girlfriend's heroes i have a party of 7 (Me + My 3 heroes + 3 Heroes and sometimes, on rare occasions, my GF)
I'm currently using my monk, which is running Ursan Blessing, @ Norn Title lv9 (not the most elegant solution, but pretty effective).
CURRENT ITERATION: V1.2

Death Magic: 12+1+1 or 12+1+3
Soul Reaping: 9+1

[Jagged MM;OANTUYT+yZpWFwDoh6RApqKAA]
As for the other 3 Heroes, that is the main reason why I created this thread.
I have been considering taking 1 Paragon + Prot Monk + Elementalist
For the Paragon i use the standard PvX Party Support:
P/W --> General Morgahn
[skill]Spear of Lightning[/skill][skill]Signet of Synergy[/skill][skill]Song of Restoration[/skill][skill]Ballad of Restoration[/skill][skill]Aria of Zeal[/skill][skill]"Watch Yourself!"[/skill][skill]"Shields Up!"[/skill][skill]Signet of Return[/skill]
Motivation 12+1+1
Leadership 8+1
Spear Mastery 8+1
Tactics 7
(Please take note i don't use any major or superior runes as I prefer HP).
Mo/Me --> Tahlkora
[skill]Reversal of Fortune[/skill][skill]Guardian[/skill][skill]Restore Condition[/skill][skill]Protective Spirit[/skill][skill]Aegis[/skill][skill]Inspired Hex[/skill][skill]Channeling[/skill][skill]Resurrection Signet[/skill]
Protection Prayers: 14
Divine Favor: 10
Inspiration Magic: 9
As for the Elementalist I'am not certain but perhaps i'll give distilledwill's Ele Condition Hero build a go, just for the fun though i might need a build with a bigger "kick".
E/M --> Zhed
[card]Fevered Dreams[/card][card]Arcane Echo[/card]Shell Shock[card]Blinding Flash[/card][card]Enervating Charge[/card][card]Phantom Pain[/card][card]Air Attunement[/card][card]Resurrection Signet[/card]
Air Magic: 11 + 1 + 1
Energy Storage: 10 + 1
Illusion Magic: 10

So what do you guys think about this team build? Any suggestions? What would you change?
I would appreciate your feedback. Thanks

I think it all looks fine and dandy (thanks for trying out my ele hero build ). Sabs builds are tried and tested so they're a safe bet, the unremovable buffs from the para will help a lot and the RC monk looks fine (although, Im no expert on Monk builds).
The only skill which you might not be getting 100% out of is [card]Signet Of Synergy[/card] as you will often be under the effects of Aegis or Protective Spirit and so the Paragon won't be getting the heal aswell. Its no biggy, but its just a thing to note. If healing is enough from Sabs builds and the prot monk, then consider replacing it with [card]Anthem Of Flame[/card] to stuff another condition in the build.
What kind of builds will your GFs character be running?

Thanks for your suggestion.
My GF usually uses a Barrage Ranger, though she rarely goes with me to UW or FOW She prefers the storyline :|

For the curse nec, remove Rip enchantment - enchantment removal sucks in pve most of the time so it's usually a wasted slot.
Replace Vengeful Weapon with Weapon of Warding - heroes use other weapon spells correctly now and Warding is too good not to bring.
UW/FoW both don't have very many corpses. You might wanna remove the MM completely then remove Barbs from the curse nec.
Remove RC from the monk - also is rarely useful in pve, unless youre in a very condition heavy area. Replace it's elite with somethin else.
Heroes arn't always that great with Arcane echo so you might have to micro the ele a little.
Assuming you're gonna clear UW, be prepared for a tough challenge. When you do the 4 horsemen quest, many Dryders will surround you. They do massive aoe damage and may attempt to kill the Reaper which would cause your party to fail. Your whole team setup seems to lack powerful direct damage. Usually an MM bomber helps with both damage and making meatshields but there's not very many corpses at all in UW/FoW. Heroes arn't very effective with SS - one reason you'd want a curse nec hero in HM is because they're very effective at making melee mobs do tons less damage with Enfeebling blood/Reckless haste. UW is pretty caster heavy - both your curse nec/ele look equipped to stop melee type so I'd drop one of them for some higher damage. If you're doing FoW though, that's a whole different thing since it's much easier. As for the paragon, can't say I like motivation heroes. I've seen the builds people run and look at the skills but, they don't look very attractive That's just me though.....if I used a paragon hero, it'd probably have "They're on fire" with higher leadership and an SF ele on the team. If you're not very experienced, you should attempt to clear FoW first for some practice.

Well I've made some changes regarding the original build:
--> Took out Rip enchantment for Atrophy (seem a good skill for energy denial)
--> Traded Vengefull Weapon for Weapon of Warding
--> Changed my Paragon build for a leadership/motivation one, for a better sinergy with the SF Ele
--> Changed Elite Skill in the Prot Monk for some extra healing, while maintaining some condition removal with DC at the expense of an redundant Aegis
--> Changed my Ele to a SF one, with some wards for extra protection, namely against elemental damage.
I chosed to maintain the MM, for a more generalized team build. In UW, i'll probably drop it for another build.
Sorry distilledwill, but your Ele build is already on another hero. I'll try it out soon
Thank you both for your nice tips
I sure this is far from over, so i'm open to suggestions
Thanks in advance

You're better off going 0 spear if you're just going with 6. In which case a 0 spear mastery paragon is a wasted slot.

http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...php?t=10219798
just the builds I have used to HM in vanquishes / elite areas (FoW / UW / Mallyx - rarely Mallyx but steering away from cookie cutter ursan is always nice)
leave you some feedback on your builds in a bit having raging argument with bloody virgin about there internet router thing

Changes for v1.2
--> Paragon doesn't use any warrior skills
--> Added Angelic Protection for damage spikes (high end areas)
--> Added Balzing Finale for more burning condition
--> Raised Spear Mastery
