go to zos chirvos channel and farm Luxon Pendant
Luxon pendant can be salvaged into 4/5 iron
or you can simply buy from the farmer there for 35g each~

just salvage everything you get, most farming spots should be able to produce a fair amount of iron

what i meant was where 2 farm direct piles of iron like how dijins drop dust and warden drop tanned hide squares

im not even sure there are any monsters that directly dro iron ignots, it doesnt even matter, just salvage any metal-ish looking weapon, and you'll get 4-5 ignots, its not hard. and sometimes those same metal-ish loking items that come with the "highly salvagavble" mod can turn into 20+ ignots.

Can't remember to have ever seen iron drop directly. If you salvage, remember to use only normal salvage kits, because otherwise you will get steel as well. Also, remember to salvage all 'Measure for Measure'-inscriptions from non-metallic items and put them on metallic ones prior to salvaging.

I don't understand why so many people have a problem with the word here: it's iron ingot, not ignot. For some very odd reason this mis-spelling has been in the game since GW went beta ...

Information from Guildwiki says the only mob who drops iron is Mallyx. I'm sure that you won't farm that~lol
