It had about as much use as a dead fish so why not? I have to keep re-iterating these things because people like you just don't get it.Ok well it is your opinion even if it is wrong. Cling to your happy little delusion all you like. Maybe someday I'll come visit you in crazy land where AoB is all "ub3r 1337 [email protected]" and you can show me what you're talking about.

Are you even reading any of my posts? When did I ever say AoB was 1337? I never claimed it was a great skill. All I said was that it was an "OK" skill and that I don't believe it's as bad as some of you make it out to be. I personally don't run AoB on any of my main builds. I do take a little comfort in knowing that I have annoyed you enough that you have to slip little insults into your post in some weak attempt to make yourself seem cool and/or smart. Go you...

Obviously, I don't really give a hoot what some idiot in a pug has to say about Lyssa when he obviously has no idea what he is talking about.

Ok whatever man. Me insulting you has nothing to do with my state of mind though. I'm trying to educate you because you still seem to be under the impression that AoB is useful for something. It isn't. Insulting you didn't work. Explaining it logically didn't work. I honestly don't know what else to do. you just seem stubbornly insistent on being wrong and that sort of mentality just boggles my mind.

avatar of BAlthazar.
For whatever to whatever seconds.
Your attacks deal holy damage you have +40 armor, you move 33% faster
and you do +5-25 more damage to foes NOT using skills (SUCKS FOR YOU KITERS!)

It's rare, but sometimes people actually notice you're taking large chucks of those red bars
Luckily my heroes and henchmen don't complain about the avatar of my choice (mostly Lyssa, and depending on the area I'm in I take out Dwayna or Melandru).

I always find something more useful than Balthazar to put in my elite slot really...

AoB is in need of a buff...until then it will continue to suck horribly.

Alot of threads i see, containing the skill Avatar Of Balthazar quickly turn into a sole debate of that skill. This is an attempt from me to gather all the points for / against that people wish to make into one thread.

So:

Discuss [skill]Avatar Of Balthazar[/skill] !!
AoB is decent for PvP???????? I'm Lost.............

its a good general elite to carry in PvE b/c the +40 and the speed.........

Personally I found AoB perfect for doing lazy runs to the Hidden Treasure/Treasure Chest/Do Not Touch.

Press one button and run

Id rather just take conviction and a useful elite, like reaper's sweep.

Make sure your posts are relevant to what you quoted. Nowhere in what i quoted did i say AoB in PvP was good. Nowhere. I don't even agree with half of those quotes, it was just setting up the debate for ya.

Meh, I take Devona with her Charge! for that >_>
And it gives speed boost to all party members!
Conclusion
Devona > Charge! > AoB

charge does not last the whole duration to get the chest and you dont need the rest of the party for the easy chests

(Im not saying Aob is any good... just there are just a few occasions where it has a use)

I said it on the first page. They're just here to strawman everyone who even seems to be defending it, call them noobs, and beat the strawman down. Give up.

Speedy, however: even I'd disagree with that. My personal hierarchy of avatars is Dwayna and Lyssa more or less tied, Melandru, Balthazar. And I generally run EDA over any of them .

Could someone confirm me this :
A friend told me Balthy was giving 33% speed to ANYTHING. Meaning running, attack (I could believe this) but also casting.
Could someoen confir/infirm this for me.

You could always ...ya know... check. Its not like that assertion is hard to test within about 5 minutes.
