Hard Mode Help
Let me start off by saying that I am rather new to guild wars, only have been playing for about a month or two. I'm currently attempting hard-mode with my dervish and I keep getting rolled over by mobs. I've tried a Melandru build and a Lyssa build, all to no avail. I would rather not try a 130 build as accumulating all the gear for it would be hard for me without having a lot of platinum.
My gear consists of max level armor, with a major vigor and some vitae. I have an eyes of the forgotten scythe. My current stats are scythe 13, mysticism 13, earth prayers 3. I have almost all the elite skills for dervish capped, and have all the campaigns.
Any help would be much appreciated as I am getting discouraged with my dervish when I know it's my own fault for not having a good set-up.
P. S. I've read the stickies and used the search feature so be gentle on me.

^I don't like Vow of Silence in PvE as it prevents your monks from healing you, and that's bad
[skill]Victorious Sweep[/skill][skill]Wearying Strike[/skill][skill]Wild Blow[/skill][skill]Pious Fury[/skill]Eternal Aura[skill]Avatar of Melandru[/skill][skill]Faithful Intervention[/skill]OR[skill]Watchful Intervention[/skill]Sunspear Rebirth Signet
Use Pious Fury to rend yourself of Eternal Aura or one of the intervention skills when you need a quick heal or just want your skills to recharge.
That's my vanquishing build.. Works OK I guess, with sab's 3 hero necro setup. I've started to vanquish EotN with only a few deaths due to careless pulling and aggroing

I do alot of vanquishing with H/H.
I usually just run a full out offensive build in HM, because well.. things need to die quick.
Lyssa isn't much good, with the monsters' increased cast speeds, you rarely hit the bonus damage. I run an AoM build similar to that used in GvG.
For your heroes, use Sab's build posted here: http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...php?t=10200851
For hench, take both monks and then a couple of utility hench. Paragons are good for decent party buffs, earth hench has wards but also some offense, interrupt hench is available is a must. Generally though, all my hench taken are with a defensive outlook on things, leaving me as the pure damage dealer (the hero minion bomber does help alot).

I use my EDA build in HM since damage reduction in any capacity is a huge help. It doesn't stop those massive ele bombs but if you rig your hero monk right you can survive quite easily.
